Good for everyday use. Doesn't dry out my hair and like the smell. Don't like the pump dispenser I'd rather have the pop top and you turn upside down and squeeze it.

I love the smell of this shampoo. My hair is super long, though, so I need to pump it like 37 times to get enough shampoo. I wish the pump released more product so I didn't have to pump so many times. It does lather really well, but it's always hard for me to get the underside of my hair clean. I usually lather up my roots at the front of my hair and then go back for another squirt at the back and underneath to get a good clean. I don't wash my ends.

If you're going to use quality hair colour you need to ensure that you don't cause unnecessary fading by washing your hair with below par shampoo. This locks in colour and keeps it fresh and vibrant for longer. Great product, though a little pricey.

I am not a shampoo snob. That being said, I've tried a lot of shampoos. Most leave me feeling kinda, "What's the big deal?". I have to say this is one of my better shampoo experiences. Shampoo is low foam. Definitely does not strip color.

I have used Esalon hair dyes for years and recently decided to treat myself to the shampoo and conditioner as the one that comes with the hair dye is great. I couldn’t get the conditioner out of the bottle it was so thick. To their credit this was replaced. I could get the shampoo out but it’s so weak I can’t get a lather with the first wash and need to wash my hair twice. When I first used Esalon I was very impressed by the quality of all the products but both the quality and value have gone downhill in recent years. It seems to be when they moved from American to Britain. Full marks for customer relations. I have always found them courteous and helpful.

My regular hair colour was stripped out and I now have a bleached out effect with white roots. My expensive but effective regular shampoo for coloured hair was a much better choice.

Just as its companion, the shampoo... You need too much product to receive the benefits of a conditioner.
I love the product. What I don’t love it’s how fast it goes, because you have to use so much of it each time!

I haven’t even used it yet, but I assume will be the same as the sachets that come with the dye, in which case the product will be fine.
Not happy the shampoo doesn’t have a pump tho? The other shampoos and the conditioners I have bought all came with the pump, so much easier to use!

I'm used to using just a nickle sized amount to wash my scalp. This took more than twice the amount before I felt like I was covering the whole surface of my head. I'll be going to a lower priced product that allows me to use less.

This shampoo is nothing special I would wish for some shine. The conditioner is really good, bit too thick to get unless you take the cap off. A little thinner would be a lot better.

Shampoo is fine but conditioner is great. A bit expensive for my taste and am yet unsure whether to purchase it sporadically for a nice change. I am on SS and have a very limited income and anything purchased comes out of my other, more important expenses and am already overdoing it with the color. The coloring, however, is well WORTH IT.

I have been using this combo for several years - I think almost 5 - and it was always great for my hair. However at some point, it started showing up as out of stock and now I can never order it again. Why and what is happening? All the other colors seems to be on but they don't work so well on my hair.

Should have more conditioner than shampoo. Shampoo doesn't foam up much but that is because it's low in sulfates, which is good for hair. I'd like to have twice as much conditioner to run out at the same time as shampoo.

Love the classic shampoo and conditioner. Only suggestion is that some form of confirmation is given to the purchaser when changes are made to monthly orders. Never know if change has been accepted until order arrives.

My first order arrived and the color bottle must have leaked. It was on the pamphlet and side of the bottle upon receipt. I called CS and was told not to use the product and a new order would be shipped immediately. It was! By the time I uploaded the picture I took of the leak, the new order was done. Nice....makes hair soft without weighing it down....bottles are too hard..product needs to be packaged in big tubes rather than hard bottles.....i suffer with painful hands.

The shampoo bottle packaging did not feel as luxurious as the coloring product packaging. They actually seemed like opposites. They should complement one another when they sit next to one another in my shower's "shampoo niche", instead they look like strangers.

This is same shampoo that is shipped with each Color Set. It Lathers up and condtions really good! The Price is too high though, so I do not order it with every color set.
