Excellent color! It matched my hair color perfectly and blended my few greys naturally. I will definitely keep using this product. I am a huge Clairol semi perm dark brown fan, however, I actually found this to be even more gentle without compromising the color. My hair wasn't dry afterwards, nor did it disrupt my 3B curl pattern.

Approximately 10 days after using eSalon color, I went to a hair stylist that I had never used before. Having no knowledge or what my hair looked like before or how or where I colored my hair , she actually told me "nice color". Great comment from a person that does this for a living.

I can't believe how exact my hair color was. I have had gray hair since my 20s (now in my mid-40s) and this covered my roots beautifully. This is saving me so much money! I will be ordering again when I need a new root coverup and am looking forward to the highlights that eSalon will be launching.

The coverage was great and the color was long-lasting. It turned out too dark but I'm sure my colorist and I will figure it out. It's all process. I have to say it would be easier to determine my color on a brown skinned African-American model as I am a chocolate colored African-American woman as shown by the picture I sent in. Come on eSalon, you can do it! Diversity is real.

I had gotten my hair cut early in 2017. It was a new stylist for me and she said, I can tell that you are switching boxes, you need to pick one and stick with one, preferably a more expensive brand as this one is damaging your hair. *gasp* I looking into eSalon and have never looked back. This is such an awesome service and each time I add a comment for a change - smidge of this or smidge of that, it is right on. Love love love!
I have seen the highlights as well that get brighter each time! Excited to try those in the fall.
I tell all my friends that this is the way to go.

I've been using esalon color for 4 months now. It comes every 4 weeks (I have fast growing grays I like to call environmental damage). I like how you can set your in between times. Very easy to use by yourself or spend QT with your daughter as she helps me with mine and now I help her with her esalon color.

I was nervous about trying a different brand than the one I've used for years. I took a deep breath and headed to the restroom. This was easy to apply and I left it on for 50 minutes (I always leave color on longer than recommended to get my stuborn grays). I used the shampoo and conditioner which is included in the beautiful packaging, and they are lovely. They smell so nice and clean. They made my hair so clean and nicely conditioned. I'm here to buy a bottle each, I like it so much.
Well that moment you step out of the shower and sneak up on the mirror to peak. It looks beautiful. The perfect shade for my skin tone. It even covered my super stubborn gray temples.
I'm so happy and this will be my hair color for life.

I think the key is to give your colorist ALL the information you can--and a photo in strong light so she/he can see what you're aiming for or against.
The coloring directions are spot-on and SO easy to follow. I'm a huge fan.

My hair has been colored by myself or a proffessional for over 30 years. After retiring I started coloring my hair at home using my stylist's formula. Even with all the tweaks to formula over the years, there was still a harshness to my copper red color. I am amazed and delighted wih the formula provided to me by eSalon....they listened and got it absolutely right the very first order!! The application is easy and the color delightful...I highly recommend!!

This was my first time to use this product. I was skeptical at first as I have not had good luck with the typical box coloring at the store and yet the cost of having my stylist color my hair was too expensive. I was VERY pleased with this product; the ease in application; the instructions were clear and easy to follow; the attention by your staff to make sure my color was as close to my current color; and the cost was very reasonable! I absolutely love my hair color. The colorist has nailed it. After sending in pictures then later changing my mind about what I wanted, my color remains brilliant and beautiful. I color over 50% gray every 5 weeks. My hair is "fine" but there is a lot of it. This product does not dry my hair like the store bought (and even a bad salon). I have gotten quite a few compliments with my most recent color change. Two of them from professional salon owners. Thank you for making a great product at a reasonable price!

I am satisfied with the last root touch up color. I only use 1/2 of the mix so I would like change my shipment date to every 3 months. My hair has thinned over the years.

My first custom color was a little darker than I wanted and I changed my mind last minute when I got my first shipment of root touch up that I would like a change. They made the change swiftly and made it easy for me to exchange the product. The new color is fantastic! I couldn't have had a better experience with the customer service I received.

I've been using e-salon for about four years now. The orders come when scheduled and if I change color at a salon, their colorist does a super job matching it when it's time for touch ups. I travel a lot and they are always able to send the products where they are supposed to go. Love it!

I like the color. I also like the service-arrives reliably. It is difficult for me to do root touch up following the directions given as my hair is thick. Last time tried putting hair in many small scrunched up pony tails and applying around each. That worked better. Dries out the hair - need to use lots of conditioner

This is the best 20 dollars ive spent every 5 weeks.... Color is beautiful and shines. More bang for my buck no store bought or 70 dollar salon color can beat this

Wish I would have known about this product long ago! Stylists work closely with you for the perfect color. Very distinct instructions for your best results. Color is perfect..rich..coverage is complete..very happy with the feel and look of my hair now!

I was desperate for a hair colour that suited me that had a nice warm tone to it. The colour stylist on èsalon made a colour up for me that she thought would best suit my requirements.
I am not disappointed by the result at all,in fact I am forever grateful to their team for developing a fantastic colour for me. I have had no end of compliments for my colour and how much better the condition is and how shiny it is.
It suits me so much better. I would highly recommend esalon and their team of colourists to get you the colour you're looking for.
Brilliant is all I can say. And a Huge Thank you to esalon.

I asked for a little darker. A little darker was whatI got! Thank you. My hair stylist put it on all the hair as it had bleached so much in the English sun. 26degrees was hot even with a sun hat! Excellent results.

Just did my roots for the first time with my personal colour from eSalon. The colour is amazing! It a demi permanent colour so now I have to see how it lasts and how it washes out.

This is by far the best hair color I have ever used, even better than any Salon color I've ever had. So easy to use, the scent of each product smells so good, and the shampoo and conditioner smells even better. Now, the final step, conditioning, OMG! My hair has never felt so soft, smelled so good, and the shine, my goodness, the shine! My main reason for coloring was to cover gray roots. 100% coverage. I've never had that with any store bought color, I'm serious, not one single gray was missed. I'm recommending this product to everyone, all they have to do is see my hair for themselves. I also rinsed out all the bottles and put everything back in the box it came in cause I thought it was so cute how my name was personalized on everything. I'm done with any other hair coloring products, this is my brand for life. Thank you for developing a fantastic product. Truth be told, the only reason I decided to try it was because of the new customer discount.

I absolutely loved my 1st time experience! The 1st thing I noticed was the very low odor. Every home hair color I have ever used was potent and the day of coloring the icky odor lingered. My hair is also pretty healthy but whenever I would color I always experienced the drying effects of coloring. But after using eSalon's color my after coloring results were awesome, no drying or after effects. My hair was shiny! I was very pleased with my custom blend. I color to cover those pesky grays and try to stay close to my natural brunette hair color. With other home coloring my results were always darker than the shade on the box. And despite going for a cool shade to avoid red or brassy tones I would still end up with them. With eSalon I sent my personal colorist a message that I wanted to cover those grays and avoid red or brassy tones. I could not have been more pleased....no red or brassiness and the even coloring results were fantastic! I would highly recommend this to anyone who colors their hair at home. I will definitely be a repeat customer and am never going back to store bought hair color ever again!

I did not expect the level of care and product quality when I first ordered from eSalon. The customer service has been pro level even while being totally online. The instructions were so easy. All the guess work was eliminated, including the sticker to paste your instructions on the mirror while you work. Genius! The color came out rich with depth and lasted (a red mind you) for 5 full weeks with minimal fade.

I wish I had ordered sooner. I am happy with the easy to follow instructions. My hair is finally the same color thru out!!! No more lighter shade at the roots and the lower ends of my hair extremely dark. I highly recommend eSalon. My hair has not been this soft, and colored beautifully. Thank you for your product.

I was super skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but decided to order anyway. Because some of the reviews stated their hair felt dry afterwards, I decided to buy the conditioner as well. I'm very happy I did. The color came out just the way I wanted, light strawberry blonde. I have hard to cover greys, which are really white hair. I can still see a little of my white sparkles,but it's ok. It looks like highlights really, so I would have to say the coverage was amazing! My last color I bought from the store didn't cover any of them at all!
Bottom line is that I would totally recommend this product with the conditioner. I had no problems and the instructions were spot on.
