I've been doing the organic salon color/cut combo for years now. It gets expensive and with things shut down I just had to get rid of my gray. Used to do my own coloring for years when I was younger, didn't want to go back to the drug store variety. Took a shot on esalon after reading reviews at other color sites and I am so glad I did. Wish I could post pictures of my hair before and after as it's just perfect and no more gray. Everything you need arrives in this great little box personalized to you. Easy to follow directions, no horrible smell and very nice shampoo and conditioner. Highly recommend.

I'm so happy I found eSalon. I love the color that was sent to me. It came out better than the expensive salon visits I was making. It was so easy to apply & my golden brown is exactly as described. I've gotten many compliments & have told all my friends about it. It's definitely a life saver now that the Corona Virus is here & I can't go to the salon. I have a very sensitive scalp, my head is normally extremely itchy after coloring but not with this! My hair felt great, the instructions were very helpful and my hair and color looked great! I was very hesitant but with COVID-19 and everything being shut down, I needed to color my grays! I have used store bought before but this product doesn't even compare, I am truly amazed. Not only am I saving money but my daughter did a better job coloring my hair than the salon I go to. My color came out gorgeous! I love that I can order the roots' color every few weeks and I don't have to color my ends. I like doing this at home ( my daughter is very kind in helping me out) on my schedule. This product IS just as good as the salon, I have now colored my hair 3 times and my hair is not damaged and dried out . I love the packaging, the user friendly instructions and how EVERYTHING is included and the gloves are even better than expected . This is not watery or runny and not dripping all down my face so it’s virtually mess-less .
I am susceptible to drying due to I have coarse /2B curly-wavy hair .
I’m also glad I found this before this crazy crap hit the fan - and you know what I mean .

My hair attracts warm tones more than anything, any time I go lighter it turns brassy and any time I go darker it turns almost burgundy. This is the first time I have found a perfectly neutral toned dye!! I added it in my notes and my neutral is toned more ash but just enough to give me the exact brunette I wanted!!!

I LOVE the packaging! Everything is set up in a manner where it's easy to find and follow the step-by-step instructions. There was enough product to cover, even with really thick long hair. The color covered my blonde and blended well into the darker root!

I do not normally color my own hair at home, I ALWAYS go to the salon. I was a little nervous, but my gray was showing, because of COVID I could not go to the salon.
I found eSalon online so I thought I would give it a try. I followed the directions, picked out a color, and sent in a photo; a very easy process. When I received the kit, I just followed the step-by-step instructions and WOW. I was so impressed with how my color turned out. I love it. This was my first attempt with at home hair colour and I was more than a little apprehensive. Given the current situation, it would be impossible to have a poor result professionally repaired. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. The instructions are very easy to follow and the kit contains everything needed. My "colour resistant" grey roots are gone and my overall hair colour looks great.

I was a bit sceptical about esalon at first. With lockdown, and desperate for a decent colour, I gave it a try.
Firstly because of postage problems, and the length of time orders were taking, my account was credited as a good will gesture.
It took a while to get my self in gear to colour my hair. Everything needed was in the box. I coloured my hair using the tint brush, as I did find this easy.
The colour wasn't drippy, it was easy to apply and the shampoo and conditioner made my hair luscious.
My hair turned out shiny, and its had a good condition. I have a lot of grey to cover, and I wasn't too sure about the colour at first. I think I have done a good job. A few greys got away around my temple, but I shall continue with this colour for now and see how results are.
Other than that, I would reccomend esalon. It's more expensive than colours in the supermarket, but taking into account I was spending at least £60 every other month, and £85 for a full head tint, I quite happy with the cost.

I have had my hair colored every 4 weeks for 25 years because of premature graying (inherited trait!). I was a little hesitant at first, but read the instructions a few times and followed them carefully. It was not as messy as I feared because I did take my time; the product to prevent staining worked great, the cape was very helpful, and the shampoo/conditioner were excellent. Most of all, the color was spot-on! Now I finally have an alternative when I can't get to the salon due to travel or even sickness. Madison Reed has really delivered during this health crisis!

The kit came complete with instructions. I did watch the videos and all the tips from the colorists. Coverage was ok, perhaps should have left it on longer than the recommended 30 minutes. I do look forward to doing this again and will keep in contact with the colorists for perhaps a change. I have recommended this to a friend as well!

My natural colour is a medium blonde but I have been a dyed redhead for most of my life. I’ve always struggled to get a natural looking copper colour, they always end up looking orange when put over blonde so I always went darker to auburn. Took a chance on this to try a copper colour and it came out so perfect. Not orange, not brown. Looks 100% natural and felt much less damaging than box dye. 10/10!

I wasn't sure what to expect and didn't really expect my hair to come out EXACTLY like the picture, but IT DID. I love it. This was my first time coloring my own hair and it was so easy. Cleanup was easy as well. Very happy with my light brown copper mahogany!

From start to finish my hair colouring process has been simple.
After years of going to a salon and spending £50/£60 every time I’ve been converted to home colouring. The colour is vibrant and the instructions are fool proof.
The product is amazing and the staff are super helpful. I contacted Esalon because I messed up my order and they fixed it for me, they’re fantastic.

I've only had my hair professionally colored and was so happy to find esalon during this time. I expected okay results as I've never colored my own hair but was absolutely blown away by how amazing it turned out. Every time I've had my hair colored at a salon I've had a hard time getting the copper results I want and it always ends up more red than I hope, the color I got from esalon was exactly what I wanted and the price was a fraction of what I would pay in the past when going to a salon. My fiance helped me with the process and that helped a lot, if you live with someone I would definitely recommend having them help you out especially if you've never colored your own hair, I think this really improved my results!!!

I could never get this natural looking color in a supermarket box! Easy to use, step by step instructions. Sometimes it's difficult to wash out of the base of the neck area, but that hasn't stoped me from using it every 6-8 weeks! I highly recomend ESalon to everyone! YOU mix YOUR color!

As my roots started showing, an email from eSalon popped up on my phone screen. The cost for a first shipment was very reasonable and reviews were good. The website is impressive and easy to navigate. It was easy to identify my current hair color and choose a slightly different one. The kit includes everything except a bowl — even shampoo and conditioner! The instructions are explicit and simple to follow. I used a bowl but the next time I’ll use the bottle which I think will be easier with my short hair. The results were amazing! It made me wonder why I ever spent hundreds of dollars for similar results.

I haven't done my color myself in forever.... but they send everything you need with easy to read instructions. My hair was so soft that day (now 2 weeks later), it is way softer than when I go to the salon. Give it a try since we can't get to a salon.... you'll love the result and no issue getting there

I was a skeptic that an online salon could produce a custom dark blonde color for me without picking up the auburn tones that I really don't care for. Under the current situation with my salon closed, I decided to try this company instead of resorting to a box color from my local store. I am so glad I tried eSalon and so very pleased with the outcome! I got the perfect dark blonde color I was looking for sans red. So why hasn't my salon been able to do this??? I've got naturally curly hair, soft black, with pretty coarse greys, the color gave me such great coverage! I went two years without coloring as I was tired of having to touch it up so often, so I forgot just how soft hair color can make your hair feel. My hair is so soft and the leave in conditioner that was added in my box has a great smell, my daughter uses it too. Thanks for a great product and quick shipping! My very first go at home colouring, and, boy, was I nervous!!! I did struggle to satisfactorily do the back of my head, but I must have done alright...no greys there. Because my hair is fine and thinning slightly, I’ve never had the confidence to try home colouring and had visions of perhaps cancelling next delivery. No way now!!!i did panic when it was on as it looked so very dark, but I need not have worried. I’ll be thrilled if I get the usual length of time between treatments with little fading....that remains to be seen. Because I’m in lock-down, like most of us, I didn’t have access to plastic clips to section my hair, but because of the length, I don’t think four sections would have suited me. I probably didn’t leave it on for long enough, as I did worry it would be too dark......I’ll know better next time. Thank you Frankie (my colourist)....I’ll be back!!!!

I am absolutely blown away. This hair color is better than my hairdressers. Unfortunately, I missed a little bit in front ( the greys), but the color is so beautiful that it blends in!

I’ll admit I was a little leery about trying this, but I am SO glad I did! It was super easy to apply, and I absolutely love the color! I definitely will keep using this, and I recommend this service! I especially love how they kept in touch to make sure the color was exactly what I wanted. It doesn’t take nearly as long as it would in a salon, and the color comes out just as good if not better!

This is my second application, I adjusted the colour a little as I have a lot of red in my hair so I asked for a little browner, I was desperate for my roots (so grey) to be done with this coronavirus so was happy when a beautifully presented gift box landed on my doorstep, my husband applied to my roots then blended through the remaining colour after 20 minutes, it’s perfect! I love it, I used the shampoo and conditioner supplied in the box! It’s so easy and simple to do I’m super pleased. Thank you

I have been going to an expensive salon and every time I go there, I leave with brassy ends and my grays covered really dark. NO MORE! I got my eSalon order during quarantine and got the richest medium brown from the roots of my gray hair down to the tips of my long hair! It is a rich & vibrant brown that reminds me of how my hair used to looks in my twenties. LOVE it!
