My natural hair color is a rich medium brown. For 6 years I’ve been Balayaging/highlighting it blonde. I decided I wanted to go all the way back and say goodbye to unnecessarily dying my hair. This product provided me with the PERFECT color, literally exactly what I envisioned, and the directions were so easy to follow. It was the perfect tool for me to use during this corona season. The only issue I had was that I wish it wouldn’t have faded from the ends so quickly. It is still a great color and much closer to my medium brown hair (especially having gone from almost entirely blonde). All in all, a great product! Highly recommend it!!!

The custom shade I ordered is perfect! I love how rich the colour has turned out to be and the coverage is amazing! No patches or streaks left behind, and still had some colour left over when I usually use 2 boxes of store bought dye.
I will certainly use eSalon again in future.

Easy to use instructions with a sticker to pin them where most convenient to see (bathroom cabinet mirror for me). Colour as described. Easy also to ask for adjustment to another shade by going on-line after. Communications very good.

I was really impressed with the items included in the color kit. First time I ever colored my hair myself. Fairly easy, just needed an extra hand for the very back. Color came out true to what was ordered but will go a shade lighter if I have to do this again myself. Thank you eSalon.

I was super reluctant to purchase hair color online. I'm naturally brunet (redhead by choice for 11yrs now). I filled in the profile as accurately as possible, uploaded a pic to be thorough. I was sent 2 colors to do my roots and the length. Instructions were easy to understand, the kit literally came with everything I needed, and the color turned out perfect! I couldn't be happier!

Not only was the color on point and accurate to what was shown when I selected it, but the stain guard and towelette were extremely helpful! It’s the perfect at home kit and I don’t think I’ll go back to a salon to pay for color. If only eSalon could send someone to cut my hair at home I would be eternally grateful. I am a color at home type of woman if I am doing a rinse or semi-permanent color. I have had unpleasant experiences with store-brought permanent color kits; they either don't cover the gray or they leave my hair feeling like straw.
I am so pleased and excited about the results that I have gotten from just one try with eSalon. The directions were clear and I followed them as directed. The color is amazing, my gray is completely covered, and my hair looks healthy - which is a top priority.
My only complaint is that one of the color bottles were not sealed properly, so I had some leakage. Fortunately, I still had enough to complete the job. I also didn't get the cape, which eSalon was kind enough to give me a credit for but I don't see where I can order another one.
Overall, Bravo! I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I cannot tell you how terrified I was to have to color my own hair. I had never colored my own hair in 30+ years, always going to a salon and paying hundreds of dollars. With the current situation, going to a salon was impossible, and I really didn't trust going to a drug store for my hair which is very fine and has been damaged a bit with too much chemicals. Well, wasn't I shocked and so happy when I ordered eSalon's custom color set, used it, and found that my hair turned out perfect -- more than perfect! Easy to use, absolutely a perfect color match (without a photo!), and frankly, it has lasted and been far more healthy than the salon version. I'm now a loyal customer, and will continue to use eSalon! This is the way to go, Thank You!!!!

I’ve always struggled dying my hair as it’s very thick, abs no colour really seems to ever take. I was scared to dye it as my natural colour is ginger, but this colour is amazing. Brown with a gold undertone. Can see it shining. Absolutely amazing. Will 100% keep getting these!

So it's not in my budget to go to a salon every month to make sure my hair looks how I want, and I had been struggling with how at home box dyes had turned out and made my hair feel. I filled out the quiz and chose one of the suggested colors. I was wanting a rich enhancement of my brown hair. The directions were clear and easy to follow. My color turned out great! It was the color pick-me-up I was looking for without a trip to the salon and spending $150. Quality is great, highly recommend.

I like the esalon color kit. It includes everything that you need to color your hair at home. Normally I do use a salon, but because of the pandemic I am coloring my hair at home and the color kit matches my salon color very closely. I would recommend it if you’re debating coloring your hair at home.

I was very skeptical to doing this whole color blonde roots at home. Most hair colors don’t match and end up looking blotchy. This was a perfect match!! Absolutely spot on with colour I was having at salon, if not better 🙊 Honestly it was exact, instructions were very easy to follow, I’ve watched my stylist do it so many times but doing it myself was nerve wracking, I was really pleased with the out come . Shampoo and conditioner are fab, I’ve just added full-size to my plan, lovely smell to it and leaves hair feeling super clean. For my next order I’ve asked for more copper. Definitely recommend esalon.

Just go for it! The color was just right! I was so skeptical...I've been going to a Salon for my base color every 4 weeks and always highlighting every other visit! My hair is light blonde with lots of highlights. During this crazy pandemic my roots popped out. They were all gray/white along my hairline and the rest of the roots where very dark with lots of gray mixed in. Not a great look! It was so easy to do...I watched an eSalon YouTube tutorial just to put me at ease. My BF helped with the back but I could do it myself with more practice. I was a bit nervous as the 30 min. ticked by... my roots looked super dark as it oxidized, so I cut it short 5 min because I panicked! But Don't leave it on! The color covered the Gray and the Dark Roots! It looks Great just like the Salon! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! It's Amazing How much better I feel just for doing my roots. Next, I'm going to try the Highlighting! Cant wait for the next shipment!!

When I stated I had fine hair and white greys instead of grey, I never thought the coverage would be so good! I Have less frizz and a lot of shine. When I started applying the color I thought oh no way to dark/ it looked black while it was processing, but after I waited the allotted time ,washed it out and blew it dry it was the perfect rich chocolate Brown I’ve always wanted. Perfection

Received the shipment a little late but with the COVID-19 craziness I get it. Had my daughter help me apply so I did not miss spots in the back and I am very happy. If it weren't for the lockdown I would have never been brave, or desperate, enough to give this a try. It has taken me years to find a hair colour that I'd love and I was very apprehensive to even try this. But with no lockdown end in sight and my roots becoming very much a noticeable issue I had to take the plunge.
I am absolutely blown away by not only how easy it was to order the colour but also how accurately and beautiful the end result is. All the tools arrived in a pretty box and the instructions were easy to follow.
I was also pleasantly surprised how little the dye irritated my scalp, which has always been a bother for me with salon colours.
I am one very happy customer and will definitely continue to get my colour from here. Thx again Tamara, my colour is spot on x

My hair is very difficult to color because it likes to turn brassy, reddish, orangeish... I guess I have a lot of red / warm pigment in my hair. I never do my own hair, messed it up too many times as a younger adult.
With the covid19 running rampid, I needed to do something because I now have a lot of grey.
This did a nice job, I was really impressed.

Was a bit worried the first time using as I had wanted to change my hair colour completely ! My hair was very bleached highlighted but did the dying myself and was pleasantly surprised with the coverage . Have asked for my colour to be changed slightly but that’s purely because I want it a brighter copper but overall very pleased with the products and like the fact that I can talk to someone to discuss colours etc. Have now signed up for regular deliveries and saved myself lots of money too , win win

I was looking for a change as I turned 23 this year. I had virgin brunette locks. I was ready to be bold. I love how the dye lightened my brown hair and it made it a glorious red-copper. I would like to go lighter but this was a good start. All without bleaching it! I’m so happy thanks to Stephanie, My colorist! Can’t wait for the next dye job!

I don''t usually color my own hair but under the current circumstances it was necessary to take on this procedure myself. This was a recommendation from a friend.. I ordered and although the process of coloring my hair was messy ( only because I'm new at this). After I completed the color process I was very pleased with the results.
Called my daughters and told them they have to try it!
It's great. And the Shampoo that comes in the kit is awsome.

I don't think it's easy to get the right color blond and this color came out amazing. I'm so glad I found this company. I'm so happy I can do my roots myself since I'm travelling overseas and can't imagine to find a hair dresser in Asia who knows how to do blonds. Lucky for me I can take some bottles with me. Super contente, très belle couleur naturelle, aucun problème lors de la pause alors que je suis en temps normal super sensible sur le cuir chevelu. Les tutos et les explications étaient très claires. Très belle emballage personnalisé j adore !!! C est ma première couleur faites à la maison. La seule chose le produit sent fort mais ça va. Reste à voir combien de temps cela va tenir. Je recommande vivement !!!!

This was super easy. When I first ordered I was nervous that I had chosen the wrong color. I called the company on Monday and discussed my order. The colorist compared my pictures which I uploaded ahead of time to what I had ordered and helped me make a better, more flattering selection. When the color arrived, I was impressed by the contents of the box and the personalized process. Everything I needed was inside the box. I used the cream around my forehead and hairline, sectioned off like in the directions and went for it. My husband helped me touch up the back and take a look at things 15 minutes into the waiting process to make sure those roots were covered! Everything was super clear and worked out just fine with the perfect shade for me. I am not working from home these days and on top of everything else, the appearance of my gray roots was getting to me. I knew of a friend that had ordered before and she had nothing but words of praise for the product. I am loving it too and it has been a morale booster these days. It is lasting really well and the product is so well presented, but without excess packaging, which I loved. I will be doing this again soon and have already called to inquire about a toning masque as well to follow up with after my color.

Today was my first time at colouring my own hair: the instructions were great and the colour was very easy to apply. I only did the roots, I have a fair amount of gray hair, and the coverage is great -- better than I get at my hairdressed. The hair is super shiny and soft. A very positive experience so far!

Le résultat au bout de 4 jours et un second shampoing est à la hauteur de mes attentes. Il est ton sur ton à la couleur obtenue habituellement en salon.

Color was a perfect match. My husband even noticed and commented that he could see highlights. I'm seriously considering not going back to my colorist. I've had so many issues with the color not taking and spending more time than I care to sitting around at the salon. With e Salon I can do this in the comfort of my own home, while getting stuff done, and saving myself an additional $75 every two weeks. Nice job!

Perfect shade of red that I wanted! Love the fact too that since it was my first order I got color for my roots (which were lighter so the color had more brown in the mixture) and then a second free bottle for my ends that had more red in since my ends were darker!
