Not what I expectedI was excited to have a custom color made for me that I didn't have to pay a fortune for or sit through I salon session to receive. I hve an anxiety disorder and the salon is not an easy place for me. My hair is high maintenance for color as I have had sporadic grays since I was 19. I have always alternated between salons and box color since I started coloring my hair at 16. The product was nicely packaged and the instructions were typical and easy to follow. I found the product itself very runny and difficult to apply. I made a huge mess in my bathroom and I consider myself skilled with hair coloring as I have done everything from bleaching ro highlighting myself in the past. The color was darker than I expected and much more red. I had been going to a salon prior to this home color session and my hair was a faded purple mess, I was looking for a violet red color with a medium brown richness. What I got was dark brown hair with a hint of red when I went out in the sun. My hair only started to show violet again when it faded which happened after three washes. I use Joico shampoo and conditioner for corlored hair. I also got the purple tinted refresher from esalon and I will say that is a great product because without it my hair would not have looked ok after those three shampoos. After I rinsed the color from my hair it was like straw. The shampoo and conditioner provided did not help me get a comb through it. I had to use leave in conditioner inmy hair to make it feel somewhat normal. Overall I was not impressed with my custom color product at all. 0 von 0 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. Fantastic productI loved this colour, with some hair colourants they can be quite potent but with esalon i did not have this problem. The product was a dream to use and i found i did not have to scrape the bottle clean to get every last remnants of serum out unlike with some other companies colourants. Love my color!!I love this service and color. I thought it was a bit too dark the first time and it was modified right away. I wanted better grey coverage and again...Bam...done!!!
