Nice colour, didn't damage hair, lasts a long timeThe colour came out really multidimensional and nice. A bit too much packaging though. I don't really care about "unboxing" my hair dye. Also, I wish I could order 1 bottle at a time, not 2. One was enough to do my whole head so basically every shipment lasts 3+ months and each bottle works out to be the same price as drugstore brands. Customer service good. Nice Colour but..I was super excited to try this out, I'd been spending hundreds on going to a salon for my hair to just feel awful a few days after and I wanted to give my hair a bit of a break so went with a darker ash blonde. I love the colour on my ends, the ashy colour is so lovely, but my roots are significantly lighter than the lengths and have a strange auburn/orange/red tone to them. Good but too red, not gold enoughThe color is good but slightly too orange-forward and not "soft enough". I think increasing gold tones and decreasing red/copper tones would help better balance the color out. 1 von 1 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. Du auch? |

Still working on getting it rightIt takes time to get your color right, still not quite there. Not sure why my roots vs ends colors are so different! It makes my roots / ends different colors obviously…. Also, I think it’s damaging my hair, but not terribly. 1 von 1 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. Du auch? |

been using esalon for 10 years (9-2012) Would be a 5 but for the directionsI love eSalon the color set makes my hair look and feel better then anything else ever put on my head. I do agree the processing time is longer then listed on the instructions. I still follow my original instructions, which were 20-30 minutes for roots. Because unfortunately I'm graying, and not prettily, I have added another 5 to my routine. I then have also gone back to the original instructions and used the remaining color (adding a bit of water if needed) and smoothed it over all my hair except very ends in small sections. I leave this another 5-10 minutes. When I do this people still tell me how fabulous my hair color is. Love the shade, but…I really like the shade of the colour made for me, but i still got a “ hot roots” effect, after following directions to the T….. not sure why that is. I’ll give it a one more try, so we’ll see- i would really want it to work, because it’s so convenient and easy to use and the shades are lovely. Updated: after a few tries still had "hot roots" persisting, now I am evaluating if I really am going to try it anymore. Second, even though the overall shade was great ("Holywood red") it washed off very quickly, It might be the end of the road for me. I also see other users commenting on the color washing very quickly after the formula change, so it's not just the shade I had.
