Hair colour is perfect, but shampoo and conditioner flattens my curly hair.I am absolutely in love with the colour. I took a little bit of a chance, diverging from my usual light blonde with a medium coppery blonde. Could not have been happier. The shade perfectly matched my skin and eyes, and I got a ton of compliments! Was also pleasantly surprised with the kit. Everything I needed - can't believe how cheap this is! The only point of critique is that the shampoo and conditioner does not work well with my curly hair. It made it smooth and silky, but also very flat and lifeless. Loved the colourThe set that arrives for my first colour was amazing. I loved the box and the way it was set out. Great instructions and simple to do at home. first self-colour in a decade and I'm impressedI have moved away from my favourite hair salon recently - been seeing them monthly for 8 years but now I am living too far away to sustain this habit. Decided to try eSalon and do it at home - and I am impressed. I like the rich colour (deep brown with golden tones), the grey roots coverage was excellent, and the technique to refresh the ends worked perfectly. My hair is soft and bouncy and looks healthy. I was skeptical but saw lots of positive feedback so decided to try it. I am not disappointed with the product and the really insightful kit (gloves, stain guard and remover, sticker to hold up your instructions - well thought through). I ordered my next kit already and added some tint rinse (to see if I can refresh the deep tones in between colouring dates, as well as a colouring kit as my makeshift supplies (cheap plastic takeaway bowl and old clips to section hair) were not great. I will get a friend to help though as I am not great with colouring my grey roots in the back, and its just easier to get help! Rich beautiful color!I have been very unhappy with drugstore hair color for quite some time and decided to try eSalon on the recommendation of my friend. Excellent gray coverage! Love that you can customize the color. If your hair is long and somewhat thick, I recommend a second two bottle application to ensure that you have thoroughly covered the middle and all the ends. 3rd times the charm!I am so in love with my color! After a few tweeks and reassurances from me that I'm completely comfortable with violet tones; I think we have hit upon the winning combination! Love the color but what a mess to apply.The color was darker than expected but I am thrilled just the same. Took me out of my comfort zone and I am better for it. I am not sure how subsequent kits are going to manage to keep this color going. It is too soon to know how much the dark color will fade. The product is runny and messy.
