First time coloring my own hairPretty easy to use. . The hard thing for me was I needed to do it two times because of my roots. So doing it two times in a row was a lot for someone who has never colored their own hair before. But I was surprised how nice it came out. What Beautiful FunI kept seeing the add on my games and have been bored and depressed and worried with the virus shut down so I DID it and what fun my daughter and I had I'm a great grandma so gray teenage grandkids watched family fun my mom says I look my dad when he was young curly red hair. Wow! I can’t believe how well it turned outI am a natural redhead. As I am aging, my hair has faded to a strawberry blonde around my face. I feel like it washes me out. However, red hair color fades so quickly and I just can not afford to go to the salon that often. I have NEVER colored my hair at home before this. Drugstore brands In red always look either fake or too brown. I saw the ad for e-salon and since we are social distancing for COVID19, I thought ‘why not?’ I’m so glad I gave it a try. I was petrified my hair was going to look either patchy or fake. Nope!!! I am soooo pleased with the results. The directions were easy to follow and for my first attempt, I think it turned out great. My son and my BFF will be brutally Honest with me. Both said it looks fantastic. Bff can’t believe I did it myself. My hubby loves it. I am sooo happy! No more washed out /old looking hair. Natural red hairDue to corona I’ve been unable to get to the salon. I have natural red hair but am going grey. I needed my roots doing but was scared to use a box dye. I messaged my hairdresser to try to get the exact number she uses but she did not reply. After being guided through the colour options my perfect match was found. New color change with pictureOk, at first I thought the color was just a bit too dark, especially on the ends. After a few shampoos, color is about right, but ends somewhat darker. I will send picture, I did have the end replenished color this time. packaging and hair dye.I give it a 3 star because I liked how it was packaged and the directions. I have dyed my hair many times. When I placed my order I stated that when I dye my hair a darker brown it has red tint and when I dye it lighter it has a orange tint. Not pleased with the color . Way darker than what I selectedI was unable to get to the salon before the 2020 corona virus state shut down. I ordered a color that was medium brown, and told my colorist that I wanted something to get the red out. She adjusted the color and I was sent DARK brown because she thought the original color I selected would be too "warm". I have nothing against warm, it was the reddish orange color I didn't want. I am almost fully gray, so now I have dark red where I was gray and almost black for the rest of my hair. I am sad that I was sent such a dark color. After what seemed like an eternity of back and forth with the consultant, she said to patch test the color before hand but I couldn't stand waiting another week with no color for my hair, so I tried it.
