Brassy tones.....grrrrrrSpecifically stated ASH tone. Received my eSalon color kit which was very nicely put together I must say and it arrived very quickly too. I was so excited to color my grow out and I used the brush and bowl technique. Sadly, after washing out the color, I could see lots of brassiness while my hair was still wet and while blow drying, cringed at seeing all the brassiness in my roots. Used my purple shampoo to tone the brassiness down but it is still not what I'm used to. The eSalon colorist created a more "warmer" color of medium brown for my hair then a cooler ash tone that I had specified. Sorrry not for me! Love the colorThe color created for my root touch up blended perfectly with my previous color and highlights. However, the shampoo and conditioner provided left a nasty film on my hair.
