Great even colorSome of the box color kits you buy in the store give you uneven tones and I have black hair that gets a red tone to it. so much better than box hair colorI have been using box hair color for years and my hair was starting to show it. It was really dry and the gray wasn't absorbing the color. limited fadeThis color really compares to the professional salon color I was getting. My 1st color I purchased at a beauty supply faded & showed up in my towel every time I washed my hair the entire 6 weeks it was on my hair & left my hair feeling like straw unlike my professional salon color that only faded once or twice after I had my hair colored. E Salon color is like the professional salon color that way and leaves my hair feeling very silky & shiny like my professional salon color did. So eSalon color easily equals professional coloring in my experience. The color is good, fading is minimal and I like how it looks weeks later. I love how silky it left my hair feeling. Brilliant product and service,I purchased my root touch up kit a couple of months ago when lockdown came. I’ve just plucked up the courage to use it as initially I was a bit wary about using it! It was a bit tricky to apply just to the roots as my hair is long but with the help of my husband (!) this was managed and I was very impressed with the outcome. It covered my grey roots perfectly and didn’t interfere with my highlights which was what I was worried about. AMAZING QUALITY!!!!I’m not normally the type of person to do reviews, but I knew I had to after using my custom color set! I have gone to different salons hoping someone would be able to fix my hair color. (For reference I am a natural medium brown and went blonde a year ago.) I spent so much time and money trying to get my blonde hair (mostly on the mid length and ends of my hair) back to a nice dark color; however, the color never stayed and usually washed right out after the first shampoo. I figured I would try eSalon after a friend recommended it to me, and let me just say...IT IS BEYOND AMAZING!!! My colorist knew exactly what formulas my hair needed and the color is not only beautiful and even throughout, but it actually covered all of my blonde and has stayed through multiple washes! Faded after one wash. Difficult greys on hairline still showingFirstly - the experience. The box, the 2 pairs of gloves, the stain guard and the stain remover.. and a separate bottle for roots and ends! For a locked down bored housewife it brought a bit of the elegance of a salon to the house. BUT, one wash in and the colour is notably less vibrant, barely looks like it’s dyed at all, and the greys at my parting/peak are still clearly lighter. The hair feels soft from the overall treatment/shampoo/conditioner, but if the colour washes out after 2 shampoos then it doesn’t matter; does it? Will not use again. Amazingly impressed!I wasn't really sure what to expect and was very nervous but figured, hey - in these COVID worrying times, if it was a disaster, did it really matter? The results were in my opinion, and for my customised set, perfect. Any grey was completely covered and the colour blended in perfectly, I was amazed, I don't know what I expected but it really was great and as good as when I walk out of the salon. But there are cons. The application is tricky and not for the feint hearted. I have good experience with hair and I found it challenging - any video you watch of someone doing it makes it look simple, it isn't and if you have someone you trust to do it with you that might help. Secondly - the smell of ammonia, I wasn't expecting that old-fashioned hairdresser smell, just mentioning that. Thirdly - the feel of the hair after it was washed and before using conditioner was alien to me; it was very dry and how bleached hair feels. Once conditioned it was ok and with each wash it improved until I didn't notice it anymore. And finally, a warning; I decided not to stand in the shower to rinse it off and thought it would be just as easy to bend over the bath. The mistake here is that when following the procedure to work the solution through to the ends for 2-3 minutes, what I didn't realise was how much it was splattering the sides of the tub and surrounding area. By the time this had dawned on me, the colour had stained the acrylic bath. It took a slightly abrasive cleaning product for me to remove the stain from the bath - which left some residual implications on the surface - and some colour that splattered onto a blind I was not able to get off. Just be aware, although now I'm wondering what effect the dye might have on the base of my shower and the sealant. I'm hoping the continuous running water from the shower will stop this from happening. So, overall and in spite of the above, I'm still giving 5* because the colour is amazing and that's all that mattered :) 0 von 0 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. Du auch? |
