Pleased with ResultToday was the day I tried my eSalon purchase for the first time. My natural colour is brown with minimal grey at the front and sides. My last visit to a salon was in January for root touch up and highlights. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, I was starting get desperate, I had tried boxed dyes in the past but the colour was never quite right or consistent all over, so I was dubious about trying that again, but what choice did I have apart from wearing a hat!. Then I found the eSalon website. After completing the online questionnaire and deciding on the look I wanted, I placed my order with a photo of my hair. I am very pleased with the colour which seems multi-tonal with a nice colour depth and the grey and highlights are covered nicely. Instructions are easy to follow and I found the process easy enough. Color is not correctI ask the violet color in the mix, but after coloring my hair it does not have any tint of violet red. Actually, I think I will just try one more month and stop my subscription. Pearl goldenMy colour went on really nicely with a pink glow to it. Since I had blonde on the mid and ends and my natural brown on my roots the colour didn't take well to my roots. This resulted in my roots being a dark blonde color and the mid and roots being dark blonde with a pink colouring to it. I had to get another colour from a friend who is a hairdresser to fix this as my hair was two colours. Overall So So...The color set is the same as the rest. I did not like the color I received because it was too dark. My overall experience was great because my husband colored my hair (although he did not like the overall dark hair color). He never would have helped if it were not for having to stay indoors. The color itself looked nice for black, but not my color. I normally go to Gene Juarez to get my hair colored, or touch up with a Semi-permanent. I thought this might be something I can do at home since going out is not possible at this time. I requested a color adjustment today. I actually logged on to cancel, but I’ll see what happens with my request. I received a second kit before I thought about making a color adjustment. Don’t plan on using.
