Has turned my hair to straw and my ends look like crapStopped coloring my hair because of OTC brands made my hair overly porous and look like straw. Salon dyes were better be cause they were custom but I did not want to send $120 in the salon every 6 weeks for my super long and thick hair. Esalon with their custom blends seemed to be the right fit to still get custom color and not cost an arm and a leg. First two shipments seemed not to destroy my hair like OTC color and I was happy. Since then, each consecutive dye seems to have made my hair progressively worse and it is awful now. It also seems like custom color does not realize that your roots my need refreshing more than annually when your hair falls more than halfway down your back. Hair colour setI have to admit I was a bit sceptical when I ordered this, but I need not have worried, everything in my set was beautifully presented with good and easy to follow instructions so you get the most out of your colour set, the result was soft, shiny and beautifully coloured hair! First time coloring my hairI wanted a complete change of color after years with natural dark brown hair and blond highlights. I thought it brightened my face but was ready to go darker for a while. The instructions were helpful but I pulled the color through to the ends for the last 10 minutes then rinsed instead of 30 minutes just on the roots suggested in the instructions. I don't remember saying I only wanted the roots done. I think it came out pretty even but I might need some tweaking with the color. Easier than I thought though. AmazingOh, I was so scared! A few days after opening my box. ( which was very nicely packed) I got to work. I was so nervous! The following day I saw two friends. I asked them how they liked my hair. They said “ what do you mean?” I think that is the very best compliment. My hair looked like it always did! to them. But.. all the grey was gone and it looked totally natural. Way to go E salon.
