Better than salon color!I've used eSalon hair color twice now, and I must say that it covers grey almost as good as the salon color. In fact, I wonder if it's just my coloring technique that makes the coverage not as good. Then, there's the softness of my hair. Compared to the professional hair colors used in salons, eSalin color is definitely much gentler on my hair. After every color, my hair gets drier because of the process. With eSalon color, my hair does not dry nearly as much. My hair is still soft after the eSalon color. Now, I have not tried multiple shades. I've been ordering straight up dark brown. Didn't cover my grays.I liked the instructions were clear, the smell was good, the problem is that it didn't cover my grays. And i don't have a lot.
