I have had a natural color for the last 10 years. I was super excited to try this product, and they offer shampoo for £5. Why not? But after I used it, I got greasy hair the next day. This product is definitely not for my type of hair.

Ich habe jetzt quasi alle eSalon Shampoos durch und habe immer dasselbe Problem: Es schäumt einfach kaum. Deshalb brauche ich eine ordentliche Menge für meine relativ langen Haare, was ich bei dem Preis einfach nicht hinnehmbar finde. Sonst tut es, was es soll und der Conditioner ist sehr gut - von mehr Volumen merke ich allerdings nichts.
Daher heißt es für mich zurück zu normalpreisigen Shampoos vom Supermarkt, ich werde nur ein wenig auf die Inhaltsstoffe achten wegen gefärbten Haaren.

I bought this thinking it would be the same sachet packs that comes with the hair color I ordered. Totally not.
After rinsing the shampoo, which you will be needing a lot before it lathered, will leave my hair so stiff somewhat rubbery. I like the smell of the conditioner, but OMG after every use of this I have an unusual amount of hair fall, just while rinsing and after brushing. I had to switch back to my regular shampoo.

I was really disappointed with these products. Having used e salon for a long time l have always been really impressed with their products and service but unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair so static l had to wash it again after. I tried it a number of times but it didn’t improve. It had the exact same effect on my husband and my little girl. I won’t but this one again but would consider using the other shampoos and conditioners l have had previously.

Left my hair so tangled I thought I was going to tear my hair out at the roots. Did not like how stripped it left my hair feel. Left my hair dry and l had to use the Shine Silk oil just to get some shine. I only used it twice.Needless to say I will not be ordering this again.

This is just the way this product affected my hair. It may not affect other people’s hair the same. Usually I love your products. However, the volume shampoo and conditioner dried out my normal healthy hair to the point that l had static electricity, which caused the back of my hair to “fly away.” I’m afraid to use it again. It didn’t do much to increase the volume either. Sorry. I really like the moisture shampoo and conditioner though and will continue to use them.

Having fine hair, I'm always interested in products that could provide a bit more volume. I also have some curl to my hair. While this shampoo provided a bit of extra volume, it completely voided the natural curl. I used it twice and then gave it to my niece. I went back to using the curl enhancing shampoo for color treated hair I was using and now just use the Lift Mist when I need a bit of extra volume.

The first time, I really liked it and it did add volume. The second time, I air-dried my hair and it seemed really dry. Normally, I can wait up to 4 days to wash my hair. This just made my hair dry.

Didn't notice any fullness in fact it seemed to make my hair greasy by the 2nd/3rd day. The smell/texture of the shampoo is like washing up liquid and you need to use quite a bit. Sad to say not the best.

Had high hopes after reading good reviews, but I was unimpressed. My hair was straw-like after use, and I can't see myself using either again. A disappointing add-on that I'll be removing from my order.

For my 50 year old hair... it did provide volume but at the expense of making my hair look dull and dry.
I was happy with the moisturizer but I decided to give this other one a chance.

I actually meant to get the shampoo and conditioner that comes with my hair color set.. But this shampoo matted my hair, and using the conditioner did not help it. I followed with other products I have in order to unmat my hair but still left it feeling very dried out.

Don’t buy this if you have thin fine hair. I would think a volume set would help a bit but this is the worst shampoo and conditioner. It has a weird smell and then completely strips hair of moisture and body. It leaves my hair feeling dry, limp and uncontrollable fly away that nothing I could do to control that- except stop using. I wish I could get my money back.

After using the colour shampoo which I really liked, I thought I would try another product. I was quite disappointed really - my hair was getting flatter and flatter with each shampoo. I have had this before with very expensive shampoos and I dont know why it happens but I am not a fan of this product.

I added the Color Protecting Volume Shampoo + Conditioner Duo to my order back in June. I removed the shampoo and conditioner from the box and put them away planning on using them at a later time. I forgot all about them until today so I used them for the first time and had bad results. I followed the directions. The shampoo seemed okay but I didn’t like the way my hair felt as I was rinsing it. Something felt different. Then I applied the conditioner. It was difficult to rinse out even though I used a small amount. My hair felt very coated. My hands were also hard to rinse. After thoroughly rinsing the conditioner out of my hair, it felt completely unconditioned. I had a very hard time getting my fingers through my hair. It felt very tangled. After I’m done I always leave my hair up in a towel for about ten minutes. I have pretty long hair. When I removed the towel my hair was a tangled mess. I had a very hard time getting a comb through it. It was knotted and hair was coming out in my comb even though I was combing very gently. With my usual conditioner my comb glides through my hair. No tangles at all. I noticed my comb had a coating on it when I was finished combing my hair. I had no shine to my hair at all. It had some frizz (my hair is completely straight) and it looked very dry and dull. It didn’t comb easily. I do not like these products at all and won’t use them again. I had such hope that they would add volume and shine. I didn’t get any of that. Can’t wait to wash my hair tomorrow! I want my old hair back!

Got this, tried it, I don't know if it's volume but sure made my treated hair so dry, and crispy. I had to stop using it. What a waste of money for me. I will not recommend this.

However I am reluctant about using it frequently because I feel like I have more loose hair in my hands after shampooing than when I use my other volumizing shampoo. Is it possible it could make my hair fall out? I have never experienced this before. I was actually thinking about returning it.

I do not like this shampoo and condiioner. It made my hair feel stuff and hard to wash. The conditioner was no better I had to use my normal conditioner. Tried it again , same, only used it twice. Very disappointing as the shampoo and conditioner that came in dye kit I really liked.

I ordered the shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair but was sent the Volume shampoo and conditioner. I have previously ordered shampoo and conditioner before and was sent the correct items so Esalon has a history of my preferences. Mailing these back isn’t worth my time but I am very disincentivized from ordering shampoo/conditioner in the future

A little makes a ton of lather so you would assume it’s going to give that volume it says, but just the opposite. I have very clean hair and not so volume, kind of like when your hair is over conditioned. I’m going to try it again in a few days with less product.
