Smells great. You know when you wash your hair and its all tangled till you put the conditioner in, This shampoo didn't do that. It's nice to not have to condition in order to get my fingers through it.

I love this shampoo. I tried it when I first joined eSalon, but didn't realize how amazing it was until I ran out and started using my Loreal color protection shampoo. No contest. I just wish this came in a bigger size. But I have learned only a nickel dollop is enough.

If you are looking for a good truly color safe shampoo, you have found your match. It does what it says it will do. It smells great. The bottle was smaller than I thought it would be but it goes really far.

I first tried Heart Lock It as a sample-size with my eSalon color. My hair was a hot mess: the top root area was oily while the ends were fried and I wanted a shampoo that would also preserve my color. It seemed uncertain I was going to find a shampoo to fit all of those needs but I planned on asking my hair stylist when I went in for a trim. After using this shampoo, that was an unnecessary conversation. It addressed all of my needs with a pleasant smell that rinsed clean with no residue without overdrying. The only complaint I have it that I wish the container was a little larger!

This shampoo is amazing! Sucks it's a small bottle, so I have to use quite a bit. However, my hair feels less greasy and manages my curls very well. 4 stars due to the bottle size.

I have been using this for a while and used a different store bought shampoo the other day just to switch it up and the result was not good. Needless to say I'm not going to switch it up anymore. This is the business and makes my hair smooth, silky and bouncy.

I'm a simple person, I had my shampoo brand for a long time, but I wanted a change and went with it. I can't say it is the best, but my hair had keep the color very well, five weeks in my hair look great and there is just a hint of grey.

This is an extremely gentle, color safe shampoo that definitely preserves the color of your hair and keeps it soft. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I find it a little hard to lather up and end up using quite a lot of it. But it works very nicely.

It seems that I have to use a little more of this shampoo or do a second lathering for my hair to feel "clean." I do have a little more hair, it being just past my shoulders. It has made my hair look somewhat less "fried." Rinses out very quickly.

I LOVE The smell of this shampoo. And I love that it is "color safe". What I don't love about it - is that it DOES NOT lather. And for me, my shampoo needs to lather, so I can feel it through my hair and know that I am actually washing my hair and getting it clean. But since I love the smell so much, I usually combine it with another shampoo that lathers, but is fragrance free.

I tried washing my hair twice with this shampoo. Let's just say the first time my hair did not feel clean, so the second time I washed my hair twice. That was this morning and it still feels 'not clean'. And yes I rinsed everything very well. It's good to use after coloring, but I'd leave it at that.

I have curly, long hair. I've used Diva Curl products for a number of years and tried Heart Lock It when I started using eSalon for my coloring. I have to be really careful shampooing with this product to make sure I don't get it into the middle/ends of my hair and to make sure I don't 'rub' my hair around too much. I have to ensure I only rub it right on my scalp - otherwise it turns my hair into a rats nest! It takes a lot of conditioner in the shower to detangle it. I don't have this problem with other shampoos.

When I first used this I thought it was not washing my hair because it doesn’t suds up. Because it is sulfate free to save your hair color is why I was told this happens. I hate how color washes away so quickly. So I love that concept.

The shampoo fragrance is very nice and not too heavy. It's hard for me to get the first shampooing worked into a lather. I end up using four pumps the first time and two pumps the second time and my hair is only shoulder-length.

Good for everyday use. Doesn't dry out my hair and like the smell. Don't like the pump dispenser I'd rather have the pop top and you turn upside down and squeeze it.

I love the smell of this shampoo. My hair is super long, though, so I need to pump it like 37 times to get enough shampoo. I wish the pump released more product so I didn't have to pump so many times. It does lather really well, but it's always hard for me to get the underside of my hair clean. I usually lather up my roots at the front of my hair and then go back for another squirt at the back and underneath to get a good clean. I don't wash my ends.

Cleanses without stripping, leaves my hair shiny and bouncy...and it smells like an expensive lady of the night. Who doesn't love that?

If you're going to use quality hair colour you need to ensure that you don't cause unnecessary fading by washing your hair with below par shampoo. This locks in colour and keeps it fresh and vibrant for longer. Great product, though a little pricey.

I LIKE THE SHAMPOO AND THE FACT THAT YOU ONLY NEED VERY LITTLE FOR THE LENGTH OF MY HAIR WHICH IS ABOUT TO THE MIDDLE OF MY HAIR. BUT I WILL USE IT ONLY A FEW TIMES A WEEK, AS I JUST RECENTLY FOUND A SHAMPOO PRODUCT THAT DOES WONDERS FOR MY THINNING HAIR.

I am not a shampoo snob. That being said, I've tried a lot of shampoos. Most leave me feeling kinda, "What's the big deal?". I have to say this is one of my better shampoo experiences. Shampoo is low foam. Definitely does not strip color.

I haven’t even used it yet, but I assume will be the same as the sachets that come with the dye, in which case the product will be fine.
Not happy the shampoo doesn’t have a pump tho? The other shampoos and the conditioners I have bought all came with the pump, so much easier to use!

I'm used to using just a nickle sized amount to wash my scalp. This took more than twice the amount before I felt like I was covering the whole surface of my head. I'll be going to a lower priced product that allows me to use less.

I haven't noticed a big improvement in my hair color staying while using this shampoo. It also takes much more shampoo to wash my hair than some others so I will pass on purchasing more

Packaging of all products should have the same look

The shampoo bottle packaging did not feel as luxurious as the coloring product packaging. They actually seemed like opposites. They should complement one another when they sit next to one another in my shower's "shampoo niche", instead they look like strangers.
