This shampoo is gentle on my hair. I am in the sun a lot in the summer so I'm not sure I can comment on the "color safe" part. I love the fragrance. Most of all my scalp does NOT itch with this shampoo.

The shampoo is great, and smells wonderful. I have short hair so I only use a tiny bit to get a big lather. It does a great job of removing my sculpting gel.

With using this shampoo, my hair is smooth, it leaves a nice fragrance, and it feels clean without stripping. I had trouble with the pump (it actually wouldn't pump) so I contacted customer service and they immediately sent a replacement. Fantastic all around :)

this shampoo has helped my color treated hair last longer!! I have dyed my hair red for over 2 years and by week 2 it usually has faded drastically but with this shampoo and the tinted love treatment my hair is still as vibrant and shiny as the first day!!

This shampoo's got it all....great lathering, subtle delicious fragrance, and leaves my hair feeling and looking great. Teamed up with the Color Safe Conditioner, my hair is loving it. This shampoo cleans gently and really helps prevent stripping of colour like many high lathering shampoos. It lasts a very long time because only a small amount is needed.

I used this along with the conditioner when I first tried the hair coloring kit. I fell in love with everything about this The ingredients, the smell, and how it gently cleans. It leave my hair soft and healthy looking. Used over time, my hair retains the hair color and my hair is in better condition than before I started using it. I switch up every now and then, but always come back to this. For the price, you are definitely getting a bargain.
