I like having it shipped directly to me. The color is great and last longer than what you can buy at the beauty supply stores. It is a thicker formula and does take a bit of effort to rinse out. But if you don't mind taking some extra time to wash it out of your hair, I think you will like the results.

You guys have done it again! My color came out beautiful! I have more than enough color to cover my extremely thick hair, the color blended perfectly from roots to ends, gray coverage is impeccable and the shade of red is exactly what I wanted! This was my first eSalon order and I am very pleased with the outcome, the color is beautiful and I am finally able to get my temple greys colored! I like how the hair coloring process was so tailored to my needs and the instructions could not have been simpler. I ordered the dray shampoo also and use it on days that I need an extra boost of volume after a workout or long day.

I've been drudgingly going to the salon every 5 weeks paying any where from $90 for just color to $140 for color and cut. I hate sitting there for 2-2 1/2 hours. My color is tough to get right, always goes orange at first until the stylist tweaks it. Thank you eSalon this is the best news I've had in months. You got it right the first time with my custom color, delivered to my doorstep for a reasonable price! YAY!

Turned out fantastic! I always have trouble with boxed blond hair dye as it is so harsh on hair and never holds. It covered the grays and kept my highlights in. My hair was very stiff and sticky after I dried it so I had to rinse again and then my hair was soft and smooth. I did not give 5 stars only because I want to make sure it holds the color for more than a couple of days.

Covers grays well and for a long time. I like that the new color blends with the old color. I also like that I can get consistent color and don't have to make a salon appointment months in advance and spend a lot of time and money at a salon. I get to do my color on my own time, which works for my busy schedule.

Colored my hair yesterday with dark blonde pearl copper. Love it. I have repeatedly tried to get a subtle copper to my hair and this is the first time I have achieved that color on first try! Better than any store brand or hair salon.

At first I was a little leery about trying it, but the box arrived, and it was packaged so professionally that I was impressed.
I waited for about two weeks then I took my package into the bothroom and went to work.
I followed all the instructions and after I washed it all out and styled my hair.... WOW is all I could say!! I have received so many compliments on my hair from fellow workers and friends!

I'm in my mid 40s and whites are starting to show and until I tried this product I was spending $150 or more coloring and highlighting. I decided to give it a try as this was my first time doing it myself and I absolutely love it! I like the quality because it covers really well and it lasts, love the presentation and love the costumer service. Since my first order I had to adjust the color and they did an amazing job. Hair is always lovely and soft not dry and straw like, well worth the extra money spent then the cheaper high street colouring kits, and you don't have to think about buying or booking your next appointment as it is automatically posted to you where you can cancel at anytime, I would highly recommend this product.

I was amazed when I opened the box to find everything I would need and more to color my hair! The kit is very personalized and detailed. The color was exactly what I had been getting at the salon. I didn't expect it be a perfect match but I did send a picture so maybe that really helped. I also ordered the glaze and it was great. I tried eSalon as I am showing more gray now than when younger, but I don't want to go 'au naturale' just yet!
I am very happy with the overall finished color! It came out even and covered grays very well.
As I have quite long hair I was worried there may not be enough in the bottle to cover my thick hair, but I had plenty and even some leftover (not that you can re-use the mix!).
I was afraid the color for roots would be too dark and although it is OK, I may ask about an adjustment of this color as it will be the primary color sent out for the roots.
Application was pretty standard, although as a first time all-over color it was obviously a more lengthy process and done in 2 parts:
- application to roots - wait
- application of 2nd color to rest of hair - wait
- then add a little water with remainder of 2nd color, suds and massage in.....then rinse-shampoo-condition
I bought the hair-dye application pack with my order and it was a HUGE help in doing my dying :)
I used all the conditioner packet to totally cover all my hair, but despite this my hair was still a little stiff feeling and 'dry' after I was done.
It was also quite difficult to comb out and my hair was rather tangled. But - I do have a LOT of hair!
This is my only real complaint.....my hair felt drier once I had finished. However, I did use an eSalon leave in conditioner after and this was great!!
Overall, apart from a possible color adjustment for the roots, I am happy with how my hair has come out. I was a bit skeptical to start, but I will continue to use eSalon for my hair coloring needs.

I am very happy with my order. It was great to have a personal colorist (Vanessa W.) and personal attention to make sure I chose the correct color.
The directions were easy as was the application. My color turned out great and the product did not suck the life from my hair. The price is right also. So glad I found eSalon.

The product is truly gentle. I did not feel any harshness and it held very well under sun. Will order again but maybe go lighter.

So pleased with the results for my spring color. I started off a medium auburn (On accident) and requested a neutral medium brown. There is a slight warmth to my hair still, but the color they made almost got rid of it all. Not to mention my hair feels so much better than before! I wish I could add pics to show you, but can't figure it out from my phone..lol. 😐

I tried this for the first time, and love it. You have your own color specialist formulating your color just for you. If it's to light or dark, she will adjust it to your preference. This is a MUST TRY, if you want to look good and save money.

I ordered through eSalon on a whim because I saw some good reviews and I was tired of paying salon prices. I followed the instructions to a T and when I saw the color on my hair before washing I was very skeptical. I was like this is really red and it's going to be way too bright. I washed and dried my hair and was in awe of the perfect color. My hair looked and felt like I just left the hair salon. I went to dinner with friends the same night and got so many compliments. They couldn't believe I had done it myself. I told them all about eSalon. I'm sold on this service. The sign-up process was easy and very detailed and they got it right on the first try. LOVE IT!

I have been hearing and reading about eSalon for awhile. The products and customer service far exceeded my expectations!!! The color has maintained well and even my hair stylist is amazed. The representatives and communication have been helpful and pleasant, also.

I've used this product twice now and realize that my hair is thicker and fuller than before! I really like how the color is totally customizable. Seriously, seriously happy with this and worth the price.

Went to a hairdresser for years and used Toco Magico but it was getting pricey. Tried this and this is my 4th application and went for a haircut and the hairdresser asked who did my color it was gorgeous and healthy. Great product
