I had only been to a stylist to colour my hair in past (mostly streaks and highlights, nothing that required a lot of commitment). When I got a few extra greys recently though, I decided it was time to start dying it all over. Esalon has been great in the process of trying to help me find the right colour. The instructions make application easy, and I have enjoyed learning and experimenting. This last consultation was great and the results were fabulous. If you are uncertain about going ‘all in’ so to speak, the Demi/Semi-Permanent options are a great starting point. Just FYI, though, I have fine hair and the demi-permanent colour seems to last longer than 25 washes on me. I am not complaining, it’s just an observation. I have been very happy with eSalon’s customer service, and the product itself. Definitely recommend.

I have been using for few months. I have naturally light brown hair with greys particularly around the temples which are so stubborn to colour!
I received great advice from Jessika who put in my personal instructions to leave it on longer than I had previously. The results are honestly really good. Completely covered my greys and they are still covered some weeks on. My hair looks healthy and shiny and if you are in any doubt to spend less and buy from a shop off the shelf, don’t! I have used every brand on the market and Esalon produces top quality colours.

This is as close to my salon colour as possible, only I can tell the difference! And my hair feels great and if I spill anything, it wipes up easily and doesn't stain my sink or tub!

I had received my first box just before Covid struck, and I was going to get my hair cut first before dyeing my hair. Unfortunately that never happened when the first box arrived. I hung on to it until this past week. (Over a year!!). I thought what the hell, got my hair cut (finally!), and did the color. I love it!! I have to say after taking the color quiz and stating what I needed, my current black had no dimension, looked inky and unnatural, my colorist found the perfect, I say perfect shade of black for me!! It completely covered all my grays, it looks so natural, more like my natural very dark brown, and my hair looks and feels so healthy!! The shade of black really complements my complexion and don’t need extra heavy eye makeup with this shade of black! Thank you Stefanie and eSalon!

I love this so much. The items in the pretty pink box come personalized with your name. It has little stickers to tack you instructions to the wall or mirror so you are able to read them without touching them. The hair color covers well and lasts. The fact that it shows up at your door is pretty awesome too!! This is a good quality product that is gentle to your hair and so super easy to use.

I love my custom color. I’m 47 and have never colored my hair until last year when I purchased my first color from your company. I’m a natural redhead and have just started to get not gray hair but a few white hairs and they were making me crazy. I love this whole system for coloring my grey hair. It looks totally natural and the weekly conditioner keeps it lasting till my 7th week of recovering. Better than any store bought hair color I have ever used......including Sally's Beauty supply stores. This is a MUST TRY system!!!

I love this, from start to end. Everyone has been wonderful, my hair does not get that dried over-processed feel after I use my custom color set. I have mentioned to my consultant that I would like to try a slight lighter shade and adjustments have already been made, fingers crossed because I was a little nervous about going lighter. The packaging is thought out nicely with personal touches, clear instructions, and another great touch is that you can watch how to videos. Honestly this has been a great service for me and I would recommend this service to anyone who dyes their hair. Thank you eSalon!

Not sure how you nailed it but the color was absolutely perfect. I just colored for the first time so excited to see how well it holds up. I had three complements my first day back at work after coloring. Not from co workers but patients who I have never met before. Now it’s been a few weeks I only have one issue. My hair isn’t as shiny as it usually is after coloring.

I have always box dyed as didn't think it was worth paying so much to get it professionally dyed, I tried this to see the difference and its amazing , great lasting colour with beautiful tones. I will never go back to shop bought box dye.

I changed my haircolor one shade darker and it turned out so beautiful. I know you might be thinking only one shade darker but my hair was lightest blonde (but looked white). I am very pleased.

My colorist did a mix of Medium Brown Violet. I really like how it turned out! The violet tones aren't really coming through too strongly, but the brassiness of my light brown/dark blond is completely gone! yay!!! I highly recommend purchasing the tools/cape to go with it. I've been using box dyes for years and never made much of a mess....but I decided to try the brush method and made a mess EVERYWHERE! Next time I will be using the cape, clips, bowl, etc.

I changed my color this time to be lighter than the previous one and it was just what I wanted. I love this so much because everything I need is in the box from the color to the gloves. The coverage is great and the color is beautiful every time.

I've never enjoyed coloring my hair but I'm too vain to not cover the gray! :-) Store-bought products never quite gave me the results I wanted but they did cover the gray hair for a few weeks. My first order from eSalon was amazing! Just opening the box was like unwrapping a present! The packaging, the personal touches, the attention to detail (the little sticker to pin the instructions on the mirror!!) make what always felt like a chore now feel like a spa day. eSalon has filled a need I didn't even know I had!

I have tried a few different colours but this is the perfect one. The advice from the salon was great and they suggested my latest colour as they thought the one I was going to buy was too dark for my colouring. It covers my grey really well and I love the fact you can bring your next order forward or push it back.

I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out. It was really easy to fallow the instructions. I feel like it was really fool proof. I normally don’t do at home colour. I am very happy with my order and with the results. I wrote that I wanted more vibrancy and I received two bottles, one for roots and one for the ends, which had darkened over time. It was not difficult to follow the directions for each and then blend the two in the end. The result was no more dark ends and a color I really like. Thank you!
