It turned out better than I thought it would. I have been coloring my hair myself for years by mixing two creme colors, then highlighting. This color had dimension to it. I hope the second time is as successful

The custom color worked great, I still have my summer hair color and it covered my grey roots! As my hair always gets a lot of summer sun so it gets lighter. It usually gets taken away to caramel brown and everyone can tell I colored my hair. Thanks for listening and making it look like the summer picture I sent you!

First time using esalon and was a little nervous for the colour match, especially as I use hair extensions on a very regular basis (99J). I needn't have worried as it is absolutely perfect!

This is the first time I've had consistent color self applying at home. Store kits ( when I could find the same brand and color code) never looked the same from application to application; it was very apparent I had colored my hair. The color would always be too dark and then would fade out. With eSalon color, there is no off color after using. My hair looks natural and consistent from one application to the next; looks like my natural hair color. I love my warm brown with golden highlights. The color stays true until the next application. I also like getting 2 sets of gloves and the shampoo and conditioner with each eSalon delivery.

I was hesitant about how good this was going to be and honestly it has surpassed my expectations by so much more. The color was so rich and vibrant. The packets of shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. There ended up being a lot more color left over and my hair was already drenched so that was comforting because past times I've gotten my hair professionally done they've always had to go to mix more. Anyways, the color was absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to keep using this service.

I was skeptical; I have a good bit of gray now and I had tried boxed colors and they did not cover it properly. I was also tired of paying a high price for monthly root color application at a salon but wanted good color and good results. I decided why not at least give eSalon color a try? SO happy I did. The color is rich and coverage is great. The process is clearly spelled out and a simple thing like including two pairs of disposable gloves makes it that much easier. I had been going to a local higher-end salon due to their renown brand of color but my hair was getting very dry and the color was somewhat dull - eSalon's color is rich, there is minute multi-tones of the color which makes it look vibrant. My hair remains healthy, shiny and soft to the touch. I am very pleased.

I think it is awesome to be able to have your ideal shade of hair dye made. It sure beats standing in the hair isle at your local store going back and forth, back and forth, and a few more back and forth. You get my drift.
You can consult with a colorist, can even send the colorist pics of your hair.
Auto delivery, with the ability to skip a delivery or pick the date your next color gets sent out is great too
AND...You can change your color anytime you want.
Definitely a must try.

Heard about esalon from a friend and decided to give it a go! The process was easy and I got a response from a stylist pretty quick explaining the color I chose was a few shades darker than my current color and suggested that I try a color that was only one shade darker just in case I wanted to go lighter. I took the advice and am glad I did, not because I don't like dark hair but because I ended up loving the color they sent! I've told some friends about esalon and even more after they noticed and liked my hair. So far I'm happy with this product!

I was recently complimented on my color, highlights and low lights. No one would believe that I didn't have low lights and hadn't highlighted my hair in months. Secondly, they were slow to believe I did it myself. My answer: Believe it! Do it yourself! It's easy! The color and directions are customized. The tools and products offered are professional and inexpensive. The color covers gray and lasts weeks/ months longer than store box brands. One of the best investments I've made!

This was my first DYI for hair coloring and I am very impressed! It was clean, pleasant, easy and my roots are gone! The color you sent was spot on. As I had light and dark highlights, this root touch up could address only one (dark blonde). I will still need periodic salon trips but I am very grateful to save so much money in between! I had ordered the custom hair color kit months ago but never got up the nerve to do it. Months had gone by and finally I decided to just "DO IT". I was terrified that it would be obvious that I had colored my hair. But my 19 year old looked at me when she saw me the next day and said "I don't know what you did today but you look 15 years younger". The color match to my original hair color is amazing. I’ve tried many hair colors over the counter and nothing covered my gray or gave me the color that I wanted. I have a long thick hair and pay quite a bit of money to have my color done at the salon. I just couldn’t see paying that kind of money constantly to have my hair done. So I decided to try the salon and boy am I glad I did. I’m not sure why other reviews aren’t good, but I will always give five stars. It is just as easy to use as the color out of the box from the store. But the color is better, lasts longer, and completely covers my gray and is absolutely beautiful. I get compliments all the time. I don’t have a problem with losing any of my hair or any other issues that people have commented about in the past. I recommend this E-salon product to everyone! I have it auto shipped so that I am never without my color. It is affordable, easy to use and my color is beautiful and I can even change it or add highlights whenever I want.

I love the color I get from the custom mix. The shades vary in my hair and people always....comment....about what a beautiful color my hair is. It leaves my hair soft and silky feeling and since I bought the enhancing treatment it stays that way.

I have fine straight blonde hair. When I use to get my hair done professionally within a couples of weeks I could see the gray! Same with Sally's hair colors and box hair color. Right about the 5-6 week, my hair starts doing it's own thing, then I know it's time for a hair color. It hinds the gray awesome!
I can not say enough good things about this product! It's well worth the money! I keep telling my hair stylist about this, I finally made a believer out of her when she kept asking me about about esalon's products and how my hair is so shining and soft, and how healthy it is. I told her..... Esalon!

I love the color and the feel of my hair. It is not dry at all. I have very thick hair that is sometimes difficult to color, even at salons in NYC. I left the product on for the recommended time with wonderul coverage and rich coloR.
