WAY TOO DARKMy previous order was a light golden brown with blonde and red. I know you will tell me this last order is the same formula, but my hair is now dark brunette! The directions said to leave the color on for 40 minutes which seemed a long time, but I did it. If this is what is going to happen with each color and I can't count on my hair coming out the same each time, then what's the purpose? Grey's did not takeAfter only two weeks, my greys turned red rather than staying brown. I have lots of grey at my part and I used the special pre-color spray for the grey hair. At first, I loved the color, but it didn't last at all. I am extremely red at my part. I have only used the product once and loved the texture of my hair, but the color needs to last longer. Bad cover, messy application and lots of waste. Not vegan either!I was initially happy with this because I loved the colour but now that my hair has settled I definitely think my roots look darker. I followed the instructions and did the root section first but actually I wish I hadn’t as I’ve never had this problem before with home dyes. I feel like I need to dye it again now but I don’t want to hurt my hair with the extra dye. It was also incredibly messy! The shower unit was covered due to the last stage of pouring the colour over at the end. Oh and there was a lot of waste!! I have long hair but I had well over half a bottle of each colour left (I actually wish I just used the roots colour on the ends and saved the other bottle for a second dye). I was annoyed to see this product had silk in it, my fault for not double checking it was vegan but silk is such a cruel ingredient, I appreciate you have a peta certification but I don’t see the need for such a cruel ingredient when there are so many vegan alternatives. 1 von 1 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. Soooo disappointedIt’s hard to list everything wrong with it but first off it stinks, the worst smelling hair dye I’ve ever used. It made my hair feel dry, extremely tangled,frizzy and brittle. I followed the instructions exactly, except for I didn’t have enough dye left to do the final rinse with it. That being said I BARELY had enough to cover my hair, my hair is about to the middle of my back. The free bottle is technically a scam because you need both bottles if you’re following the directions so you really don’t get extra. I made sure to saturate my greys but they didn’t get covered, I’ve never had a problem with my old hair dye. And lastly it is way too dark, it was supposed to be medium brown and now that my hair is dry it’s closer to black than brown. Zero ColorI asked for a Cooper color. I was very clear when picking the color I wanted. For some reason, they decided to give almost no cooper at all so it's basically just an ashy blonde which is what I was trying to change AWAY from. Needless to say I'm super mad about this. Going to have to go BACK to the old fashion of buying from Walmart way because at least then the only one I have to blame is myself when it reacts badly with my hair. Hair colorThe hair color was ok however my hair picked up the blue in the color and ran with it. The roots, which were a dark blonde before coloring, remained the dark blonde with now a bit of red. Not so "custom"I have been coloring my hair for a long time. I know what color to use but thought I'd give eSalon a try. I ordered the color closest to what I currently use but was disappointed there weren't more choices. I got a message from my "colorist" who said the color I ordered was too dark to go in one step so she changed my order to Strawberry blonde when I'm currently medium auburn. I replied that I did NOT want strawberry blonde but they sent it anyway. My hairstylist says if I use this product it will make my hair pink. Tried to call but they don't answer. Quality decreased dramaticallyLats 2 batches were really bad. This last one in particular. Extreme pigment, so much more than other times and literally zero coverage. I actually want a refund. DisasterAfter applying the paste on to the hair, I closed the cap of the bottle. After 10 seconds, the bottle got hot and explored. The color splashed all over to my white walls in my bathroom. Charged your account whenever they likeBe careful before subscription. If you would like to be charged and received products without even being notice, eSalon is your choice. And you don’t even have an option to delete your account details, the only thing you can do is to turn off subscription. I feel very insecure as they are not only charged me according to my subscription period but will suddenly shorten the order period, charged me with my credit card details with an email AFTERWARDS. It is really a bad user experience. Not a pleasant surpriseFirst of all it makes me angry each time, that the color is only for roots. I don’t want to do roots only, I do not have technique for that, it gets messy. Last two times I was starting with roots but ended with color on all hair. Although it was nice and I was happy, this time it went wrong. I don’t know how can this be same mix as always. This dye did not work.After using this to cover my last dye that was more red than I wanted each time I washed my hair the towel used to dry it came off covered in dye. Brassy and dark balance is off!Was at a 9 Blonde light in color and they would not match me they sent me a 8 medium (a whole year of work gone ) to a dark color with red and yellow tones. Was told ( afterwards sending me a second box that made my hair darker) they could not match my color! Was told they would not go lighter than two tones of your natural color but that wasn’t the color I had. The pro side is they answer the phone every time you called. The con they can’t match the color you have regardless of pictures they should’ve just been upfront about it. I just went out and I was asked if I was a red head! Didn't work wellI am disappointed with the eSalon color, partly my own fault. Pros; super easy to use, everything was included in the kit, kit was beautifully packaged, color was exactly what I ordered. Cons: the color I ordered was too dark and didn't look like a natural color. I chose the color and unfortunately, choosing from a small color online, I choose the wrong color. After washing my hair the second time I noticed that grey was showing already in my temples. I don't know if my hair just doesn't hold the color or the color doesn't stay on grey hair. I'm a senior and even perms don't hold the way they used to so it may be my hair. FadedI’ve recieved several orders with e-salon and all were easy and great and within a couple of weeks they were faded even though I’ve gotten permenent. Within a few days of using this new dye my hair faded back to its previous color.
