Don’t do it!Wish I could give a zero star. Attempted coloring my hair with this, didn’t even get half of my head covered before I got in the shower as fast as I could to get all of it off me. Smell was so strong that when it got anywhere near my face it sent a shock through my nose to my whole body and then a burn sensation. Fades to odd orangy colorI liked the way it looked fresh. Within a month I was not as pleased. I think I need it a bit darker. I have 2 unopened boxes. I thought I cancelled the automatic shipments,! I had surgery and stayed with friend afterward who would not allow dye in her shower or kitchen sink. I had to go to a professional this week to even get to wash it. They colored, also. do not need ANY MORE. Introductory offer a normal price I pay, the subsequent ones too rich for my budget. I will cancel COMPLETELY if you give me no notice and charge me after the fact of shipments again! DisappointedMy goal is to not have to color my hair every 2 wks to cover up new growth of gray hair. I wanted to go a little lighter in color in order to do this. However I was told this can't be done on previously colored hair. An option I had was to go lighter on roots. So I did. I followed every instruction down to every detail. I was so disappointed to get out of shower after coloring only to find either the color is way too light to cover my gray hair or that the color just didn't work because it looks as though I didn't color my hair at all and I see nothing but all over gray roots. Worst colour ever!Gets one star only for nice packaging and decent quality gloves. Other than that, the worst hair colour I have ever used! I asked for ginger - real carrot copper - I got browny, pinky purple. Avoid this product like the plague. Go to a professional or buy a well know brand that understand colour. Not the sameI’ve been using esalon color for 9 years, over the last couple years the color has changed. First it seemed that it would fade/washout very quickly and not color my white hairs, then I started to notice how red my hair seemed after the color had faded. As I have become less happy with the color I have been using it less and less. I now have 4 boxes to use. I hadn't been able to place it for a while but after coloring tonight I realized that my soft black color is actually more of a coppery brown? Don’t risk it!Utterly devastated by the result. Had a professional hairdresser apply the colour for me, following the instructions to the letter. The two different colours provided for the roots and ends have resulted in the most appalling contrast. Waste of money! Waste of time and now left having to fork out more to rectify it! Pas efficaceBonjour, J’ai fait ma couleur jeudi et j’ai laissé le temps qu’il fallait, j’ai rincer, et n’a pas fonctionné du tout, c’est comme si je n’avais pas fait de couleur. En plus le produit sentait très fort, le shampooing piqué les yeux, franchement très déçu. Je préfère encore prendre mes couleurs dans le commerce et je vais continuer, au moins elles sentent bon et y a un résultat . gold colorDid not get complete coverage, for some reason I am still getting the gold color streak, not a lot like the time before but still have one. After one washing I have a lot of gold color. First time userI really wanted to be impressed. I followed the directions to a T. Gray coverage was not good on the temple area. Overall coverage was ok but not spectacular. Tried for timeI did my color on Friday, May, 17, later on that same day I can see grays. I followed the directions allowing for 30 minutes and adding water to the left over set and putting it on my hair as I rinsed off. Waste of MoneyThe price of shipping is outrageous! It says 3 days shipping but mine has always been late and my last shipment was over 2 weeks late! Trying to get into contact with customer service is nearly impossible, I couldn't find a contact email on the website I had to google it and so far it's been 4 days with no response. You don't get much colour either, the bottle will only do my roots each time. Poor customer service, impossible to cancelI did not use the initial colour I was sent, deciding instead to go to a salon to get my hair coloured. This company auto shipped a second order despite never asking for this. I tried calling to cancel but the line provided was not in use. I tried emailing but have not received a response so I've been charged and received shipment of a second order which I have no intention of using. This is very frustrating. I'm annoyed to be out of pocket but also annoyed at the waste of having to throw this out unused. Got it wrongFollowed tie directions carefully and the color was a dark brown mass. No dimension of color or shine. I washed it twice and got out some of the dark and unflattering mass but at least another wash until it looks like hair. Very disappointed. Please cancel future orders. Too brassyWhen selecting my color, I noted to the "hair care persons" that my hair held a lot of red and I usually go with the cool ash colors. I didn't get that but tried it anyway. Disappointed & dissatisfied in the color hair provided.I actually just used my first purchased of hair color. My sister did my hair & it turned out back to my normal color of dark brown. My color was chosen to be muhagony copper. Does not look at all muhagony or copper at all. Also I was charged on my April bill $38. When it was supposed to be $28.00, why? It's part of why I canceled my subscription with you. Mind you I did it before I did my hair color. Now there's 2 reason why I won't go back. I wanted some kind of muhagony or burgundy color. Auburn looks nice on me ( light) the picture I sent of me had some Lind of red in it. It was not dark brown. I would like a refund or try to get a better color choice for me & not charge me for it. colour setUnfortunately, the colour you sent me did not take at all. I first carried out a strand test, which showed no change in colour. Then I tried another on a different part of my hair, leaving it on for much longer to see if it would take at all, but there was no result whatsoever. Did you change the ingredients? Didn't cover my grey for longTwo weeks and the grey was showing. Also made my scalp itchy. I have cancelled my order, but still you have processed it and it's on it's way. I will now have to find a blonde and gift them the kit as I have had to return to my hairdresser for her to sort my hair out, plus the pharmacy to sort out my itchy scalp. Sorry it didn't work for meI have a lot of gray and this did not cover any of it but most of all the color was very light almost white blond no real golden color at all. I followed the instruction exactly, 30 minutes after the full 4 sections were covered, but the color either didn't take or somehow I got the wrong color. Nothing golden, or blond about the finished product on my hair. My suggestion is to go darker then you might think you want and maybe that will work. Couldn't tell I colored my hairMy hair is brown and I dye it blue black twice a year. After I used esalon hair dye, I couldn't even tell I had dyed my hair. All my roots were still brown and it could not have been blue black because the ends of my hair was the dull black it was before I used the hair dye. I could have sworn I canceled the subscription but they drafted my account at 5:30 this morning but I was told it was already shipped and I would have to wait and refuse the package/send it back and wait on them to get it back and process before they would refund my money. If u cancel your subscription, u might want to double check and make sure ur cancelation was completed. I'm going back to store bought dye. Color way darker than expectedI was hesitant to start dying my hair because I never had before and I liked my natural color. I attempted to get as close to my hair color as possible and asked my friends their opinion and they all said medium brown was closest to my hair color. It took me a couple of months to but the bullet and dye my hair. The color looks to me like the darkest brown, not medium at all. I’m disappointed in how off it looks from the photo in the color finder. The positive is that my hair feels amazing. Not satisfiedThis time wen I purchased my colour I thought it was way to dark for my completion. The colour was darker than previous time . I was more auburn than copper.
