This was my first time to ever dye my hair. I was nervous doing it at home but followed the directions and it came out great! I am a natural redhead that had turned gray and wanted to keep it as close to my natural color as possible. I am not sure how they did it, but they nailed it! My hair is shiny, soft and has great dimension.

I really liked the process of determining which color to order, determining if I roots to cover, when I colored last, what color my hair is now, what is my natural color, etc. The instructions for application were very easy to follow, application of the color was very easy, and I was very happy that it had minimal odor. I am happy with my color, but I am equally delighted how easy it was to request a little tweak to color on my next order. I can't wait!

I love this hair color and I love eSalon. I have never used any hair color like this and its so beautiful. My hair is soft, beautiful and I love being able to use it when I need it. All that I have to say is that they are the best ever, I recommend them to everyone. If you want the best there is then with esalon you've got it!! I can't praise eSalon's color enough! It's specially formulated for my hair with the instructions and I get better results than I do when I pay $150 to color at the salon (due to the length of my hair). I especially love that there is no color bleed into my pillow the day after. All of the at-home colors I've used in the past bleed out for several days no matter how long I rinse.

I was very skeptical at first of trying a service like this. I've always, for the past 20 years, been going to a professional hairstylist for cut and color, which has been costing a fortune. I have used this product for a few years now. I have, in that time, had three different hairdressers, each has been amazed at how well this product works and how natural it looks. I have been coloring my own hair with drugstore products for years. This product is a totally different experience. It covers my gray completely and absolutely does not fade or was out. The color is perfect too! I get tons of compliments! Even from my husband who is typically oblivious ;)

I've been coloring my hair for years. Was a blonde all my life and as it got darker I started going to salons and paying crazy amounts just to have them slap on some color and 30-60 min. later I was out the door. So when I decided to go Red, I first went to a salon, then decided to save some money by trying it myself. I tried boxes...then ION hair color...then saw something online for eSalon. Britney has been wonderful and so very patient with me. The first batch was a little too dark, but she worked with me and we tweeked it little by little until I found my color. Matter of fact, I found a picture of myself after the last Salon visit, and I love the eSalon color much better. Plus they are experts at what they do...and will work with you either by email or phone or both! And believe me, saving hundreds of dollars a year on hair color is definately a win-win. But the best part is they work with you to get what YOU want...not what THEY want. I've been to salons where you go in with something in mind and end up getting what the stylist wants on you...not with eSalon. Love em and Britney!!!

I was looking for a nice deep chocolate shade to cover my bright red hair.
Not only is this color amazing but it got rid of all the red without making my hair look too drab or ashy.
They selected the perfect color formulation and gave me the exact color I've been looking for!
I chose the Demi-permanent option because my hair is a little damaged from previous bleaching.
It worked wonderfully and my hair is even softer than before I colored it.
I will definitely be purchasing this color again along with the color tint to refresh my color in between color treatments.

I've been with esalon for over a year now and I could NOT be happier! I (like most women), have run the gamut in hair coloring. Over the counter, In the "actual salon" and so on. But this just isn't about convenience or price, (which BTW esalon are BOTH far SUPERIOR). But the fact that the #1 job of esalon is to get the color EXACTLY how you want it to be. (And bonus, I have NEVER gotten more compliments on my hair color.)
It comes in the mail, I mix it and I color on "MY TIME", IN MY HOME!. That is so much easier and convenient. That just adds the check marks for the positive side. I even changed my color for a few months awhile back because...Well because I wanted to. And esalon worked with me to get the color EXACTLY to my liking. And I am indeed "LIKING IT", IN fact...I AM LOVING IT!
The other products are pretty good too. The Mousse is great, the Body building shampoo and conditioner are good too but the color is the greatest hair care product I have EVER found in my life.
I will be a customer as long as I am able to do so.

eSalon chose the correct color based on my picture and questions and have loved their choice. You get everything you need in one box to do your own coloring. I would always shop at Sally's and keep extra supplies but now it all comes to my door.

Initially, I thought the color was too dark, and asked the good people at eSalon about it. But I have someone now to come over and help me with my hair, and she told me I need to put the color near the roots for the bulk of the time, and then work it through to the ends for the last 5 minutes. Perfect! The color looks very natural, and I even notice highlights.

I really liked the hair color that they created for me. It did not have a lot red in it like so many of the others that I have tried. It is nice to not have a red brown or brassy hair for a change. I really like my light brown hair. It looks highlighted without the cost or the hassle.

This is the best I have ever used 100% does not compare to any store , salon , anything. The moment I started putting it on my hair it instantly started to take the gray in the front did not end up a lighter color my hair was all even one color I only had to wait 25 minutes I could not believe it , it was great. The color is true to the pictures, also there's plenty of color to mix one half at a time and save the rest for next time if you're just touching up roots. I was glad to have the professional tools kit.

Esalon prepares hair color to your specifications. They work with you, are professional and friendly. This is a high grade hair color that lasts and has a nice shine to it. You can't beat the price and I believe it lasts a lot longer than over the counter hair color. I gave up my hair stylist for Esalon. Absolutely love it! Two thumbs up

I have always been a strawberry blonde...well until I got that first gray hair. And then that hair made friends and more and more seem to come to party. This root cover was perfect, even with my highlights and my "on the boat all summer" lightening. Even my stylist said she loved it (after I promised her I was not cheating on her, just lengthening the time between dates).

I love their shampoo & conditioner and color enhancing treatment, my hair feels wonderfully soft after use. This is my new product of choice and cheaper then my old products. I like the hair color but it was just to much work for me by myself. Really great products. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE THEM A TRY.

I am very impressed with your color treatment, it made my hair shine and the color was beautiful. The color may be a tad too dark for me but after several washes, it is now the same color as my hair.

This is the perfect color, so close to what I was born with. Reds are so hard to match. And on top of that It is good for my hair. The texture, shine. Manageability of my hair has never been better. The best and easiest color ever.

My hair is very hard to color correctly. It pulls a lot of red making my blond color come out brassy. Normally takes a couple of hours, and about 4 times the price, to get my color correct. Thought I'd try it. After all, if it didn't work I'd go back to the salon. Never again. Easy instructions to follow. Doesn't take a long time to process. No brassiness. Absolutely love it and recommend to friends.

I couldn't be happier with the results, I usually use store color, but not anymore. There is enough product to cover your hair thoroughly and the shampoo and conditioner smell great. This color leaves your hair feeling smooth.

I love the personal attention to my color needs. Gentle product! My scalp doesn't itch or burn, like with the store products. The website needs a little improvement. I wish I could pick a different shade on my own or try a different color when I re-order. The only way I can do this, is by writing a description of my needs, or by opening a new account every time I want to try a new color. Still love the product!

I love the color eSalon created for me, I love the video on their website that shows me how to color my hair and it lasts just as long as having it done at the hair dressers. If I don't want my color sent to me this time, they've made it easy to contact them to make any changes I want. I also like the sample shampoo they send along with the die, I mean I really like it! Great products and great company!

I love my eSalon hair color. I have been to two professional hair stylists in the past year, and both said it looks as good as any color they could apply. Absolutely no color bands -- the dye color is consistent and natural looking. I love it!

You know you have a good hair color when your stylist comments on it! She said it looked really good and commented on how much dimension I had with high/low tones! I don't think it has faded much at all, and I did it 3 weeks ago.

I have used mulitple brands of hair colors lines and this product by far is the best product I have ever used. I like and how it includes the detail instructions, gloves, stain protector, stain remover, and shampoo/conditioner. I highly recommend this product!!!
