Used Clairol Nice'N Easy for nearly 20 years till they changed the formulas and I suddenly was dark ash blonde instead of medium neutral blonde. After a little discussion I was blessed with a nice neutral blonde color that I really like and my friends are very complimentary of.

I've tried MANY color boxes over the years. I had many doubts this box would be any different than the rest. I decided to give it a go and I was thoroughly pleased with the results. I made a few slight changes to the color to make it my own and am completely happy with the results. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a change. Thank you eSalon!

I was so nervous about trying this. Not only is my shade of red a tricky one but I've never done my hair at home. I've only gone to a salon. But it was so easy to do and the color is perfect!!! I'm super happy with the results. All my friends said it looks amazing!!

Having slightly adjusted the mixture a couple of times, my colour is fantastic. The instructions are precise and tailored for the individual and there is plenty of feed back options. Pls take advantage of the photo option as this helps in the process. Thank you.

Great colors chosen for my root coverage and ends! I spend so much every 5-6 weeks at the salon and just don't want to. This worked out perfect and I can cover my grays whenever I need to!! Totally recommend

With traveling a lot I love the flexibility to do my hair color when ever I want and not have to plan ahead to make an appt. It took me a while to learn to do it well but now I am comfortable getting it done quickly. The color match is always consistent and I get many compliments from my hair dresser! Great customer assistance as well.

Pleasantly surprised at how esalon color is helping me get back to my auburn color that colorists here have for some reason, had such a difficult time giving me, even after years and years of being auburn. And it's covering my gray really well without hot roots! Esalon colorists are helping me tweak the formula. I'm liking this. Just wish I didn't have to apply it! I have a lot of hair!

I got the new box at least 2 weeks ago maybe three possible 4??? but just used it today. My last custom color just lasted that long!!! Very happy with the products No funky odor, not a huge mess to use.

Love love love! Was very nervous about doing this as I've had a bad experience once before with a different product and it turned my roots orange!!! This was so easy to do on my own! With the excellent step by step directions it was simple to do. I missed a few spots in the front of my hairline and I have a few wisps of gray poking through so next time I'll be a bit more generous on the color in that area. Overall I love this and am sold, especially being so busy and reducing the cost of going to the salon this is so helpful!!! My color was spot on!!! Thank you I'm so very excited!!! It covered my gray so well!!!

This was my first time using eSalon and I must say...I absolutely love this. I have either being doing box-dyes or going to the Salon and spending $200 to get my hair done. I wanted to find something that would get me the exact color I want, for a good price. This... was what I was looking for. They listened to what I needed when I selected my color and gave me a package that was very detailed but also very nicely displayed. I will be going to them again. :) This was perfect.

I love that my colorist cares about what I really want... and helps to adjust my color until I get exactly what I want. All the colors can be mixed at differing proportions in order to get the lighter darker or more colorful as you want. I had my favorite box office the drug store wall, but I always wished I could make it a little lighter. Now I can!look

I enjoy not having to leave my home, schedule hair appts, spend the extra money and extra time it takes to get your hair done at the Salon! I love the diy and I don't have to spend 100 dollars every five weeks. I love the ability to do your roots and change colors its truly amazing!

I've been using these products for about 6 months now and I must say that my hair looks great! The color does not fade away as fast as store bought products and it keeps truer to color until the next coloring. I am also very satisfied with the gray coverage I get. Hair looks so natural and not brassy or dull. Thank you

I was nervous and worried about A) ordering this product online B) actually doing it myself C) most importantly, my hair not turning a scary color.
Not only did all three scenarios turn out fine, I LOVED it. My hair looks awesome and according to my skeptical southern mother "your hair looks 10 times better than when you get it done at the beauty shop!" Customer forever.

I kept the same formula and just made sure to apply a little earlier/heavier to hairline and I now have great, even coverage and great color. I'll keep ordering this formula for sure. So easy!

Hi, I'm 64 and have never colored my hair. You are correct if you're assuming I have some gray hair. (Do to my age, right?) Didn't really know what to expect...I did know if this was a disaster, eSalon would help me get it right. Their customer support is amazing. I was starting to panic about the color I chose so I called customer support. The person that answered was so nice reassuring and helped me order another color. I left the conversation with quite a bit more confidence I made a good choice on color. My girlfriend helped with the application and it came out perfect. Not all of the gray was colored, however I was pleased with the outcome. My hair looked so natural that none of my friends even knew I colored my hair!!! Now that I have a total of one hair coloring experience under my belt, I decided to take a chance to have eSalon add a bit of red to the formula. Stay tuned for my next review to see how it comes out. Thanks for reading this rather long review...and I don't care for long reviews. 😃

I hade red hair naturally and those with red hair know how rough it is to match their natural color.
Well Esalon matched it perfectly and the quality of their hair color is the best I have ever tried. It doesn't dry my hair out and it doesn't fade fast like all others.

Color covered the grey very well. Root area was a little lighter than over-all shade.

I love this hair color. I can color my hair any time I want and it won't cost me an arm and a leg to do it. The color choices are great and I'm able to change my color as I wish. Make sure to buy the professional kit along with your initial hair color purchase. I find it easier and cleaner to use the bowl and brush. I've colored my hair three time already using the kit and it has worked amazingly.

I love that my roots are blending with the rest of my hair. I am going lighter and my colorist has given me a lighter shade without my roots standing out.
