I colored my hair today to match my roots which are strawberry blonde. There was a subtle change, a little more golden. I like it but wish it was a little darker. I feel like I still have the ombré look. I do give the product 5 stars for smell. I absolutely LOVE that it doesn’t have a gross overpowering smell of hair dye after you shampoo. Will continue to order!

This is the best color I've ever used. Always have had salon color and it always burned my scalp while waiting for the time to pass before rinsing. With the eSalon color there is no burning or itching, and the color fades much less. When it does fade it still a nice color and not blotchy or washed out looking. I am very happy I took the leap to try something new!

I had my doubts as with all home colours. I was slightly put off by doing my roots separately to my ends in case it went wrong! However I was pleasantly surprised with how simple it was and love the final finish it looks completely natural and glossy I love the colour they couldn’t of done better in a salon! I picked my color, added a photo, and my colorist adjusted it to be a better match for the look I wanted and it came out absolutely perfect!! So easy and fast! I had so many compliments on how nice the color looked in the sun...not brassy or dull. My hair doesn’t hold color very well, but this product has held up better than most professional jobs. Love it!!

I did my color today I loved the application it was really easy. To my preference I think it may be a little darker that usual we will see how long the actual color last since this is my first application I am unable to tell that part. The shampoo and conditioner was an awesome product. Hope it comes in larger sizes. My hair feels like good hair again. It is really by far the best hair color I have ever used. No gray strands great coverage. I may adjust to a lighter shade on the next go round. I was very pleased with the overall outcome of this hair color.

Best gray coverage I have found. Natural and shiny.
Thanks to my colorist, Alix, for a perfect adjustment to my color. I tried going too light and decided I didn’t like the red tones. I have been coloring my hair since my early thirties when I lost a lot of hair from lupus and it came back gray! Not fair! But finally, I have found a product that keeps my hair healthy while letting me have my natural color back and feel and look my age! I also love that each kit comes with gloves that fit and 2 pairs at that, so once I finish applying the color I can throw them away and still have a pair when I hop in the shower to finish applying and rinsing. I just received my first order. I started off with ombre hair color so light at the bottom with dark roots and my goal was to go dark again. They included two bottles of color one for the roots and one for ends. The instructions are super clear. I absolutely love my color and I also love that I can maybe decide to add a bit of dimension if I feel like it by simply sending in a message to adjust my color. A few suggestions for users: the process is very simple, but pay special attention to the back of the hair, I struggled here and eventually got my daughter to come and spot me. I actually used 3 pairs of gloves so maybe just buy a bag a the dollar store to have on hand on case. It can be messy so be ready with wipes or paper towel just in case. Also the cape is a great add on tool, I didn't purchase it and found my towel hard to use as it didn't stay put. I didn't feel I needed the bowl the bottle was easy to use for mixing and application. Use a shampoo/conditioner especially for color treated hair afterwards for best results. I use to pay upwards of $200 at the salon and I almost feel guilty saving this much money and getting salon quality results.

I was really tired of paying hundreds of dollars and the trips to the salon, but at the same time I didn’t want to go back to using boxed dye. So, I read about eSalon on the internet and I decided to give it a try. I am thoroughly pleased with the way my hair turned out. I asked for a brown auburn color and that is definitely what I got. You really see the nice shades of red in the natural lighting. It also left my hair really soft and smooth. The directions were easy to follow, even though I was scared of doing my roots and my mids to ends as two separate processes on my own. It turned out seamlessly. I even loved the classic shampoo and conditioner that was included in the kit so much that I have ordered those from eSalon as well. I plan on using eSalon for a long time.

I coloured my hair for the first time on Sunday and washed it today. Was a bit apprehensive as when I’ve coloured my own hair previously, I’ve watched the colour disappear down the plug hole. I’ll begin by saying any man over 50 has to be careful coloring their hair, and anyone should be careful about coloring their hair red. That being said, my recent hair color formula was very, very good. My natural hair color 30 years ago was similar to Prince Harry’s. I know my face looks too “mature” to try to go back this bright. First day after I colored, the copper seemed just a bit intense but after 24 hours, it settled nicely. Color does not seem to be fading and gray coverage was good without any funny pinks or oranges. Everything I need is included and they supply a packet you apply to help from staining your skin at the hair line. The color tone I wanted was spot on and I love how easy it was to apply. My hair looks awesome and healthy!

I sent a request to see if I could get a change made to my color in between my scheduled dates ( I held off using the kit I had recently received). The professional colorist responded to all of my questions so promptly and expedited an adjusted kit to me that worked out perfectly. Very satisfied !

I used to think "ick, time to color" but with the new kit with all the extras included, it's so much easier and fun.
Remember all those weird confusing instructions from the drug store color boxes? Now it's in simple language and stuck to my mirror with my "Just for me" sticker. I definitely feel pampered... even doing it myself. The color brush makes all the difference in coverage. And the stain guard and cleanup pad works perfectly. Great product!

I really liked my colour. It covered all my hair to the same colour. My hair was left soft and silky!!Perfect amount of colour in the bottles. I will be ordering from esalon from now on. All Grey hair was covered.

My first time using this, and it was fantastic. The color was dead on what i was wanting and looking for. The instructions were easy, and the box itself was awesome. The fact that you are given all you need, and everything is personalized... it makes you feel special.

The color matching process was fun to do! Based on my individual results, the custom color mixed for me was spot on. Personalized instructions were easy to follow. Loved the results - color was vibrant & shiny.

After a minor adjustment to the base color, which was super easy, I added highlights to my shipment.

The result is excellent all over perfect colour - I never seemed to be able to colour my temples or front hairline no matter how hard I tried it always came out grey - this is all over perfect colour - and it comes out nice and shiny as well. My hair seems ‘heavy’ when done but second wash perfect - maybe Its my fault - i don’t rinse enough

I had originally asked for a dk chocolate brown to cover my existing medium ash brown. But Stephano’s (colorist extraordinaire) recommendation of dk brown with neutralizer was genius. Greys covered beautifully and I love my new color. Thanks :)

As anyone who dyes their hair red knows, it fades fast and looks dull in a few weeks. Not this one. My hair is still the same color I colored it to, a few weeks later, and it’s shiny too! I’m very happy with this product and will absolutely buy it again when it’s time for me to re-color.

After my hairdresser coloured my hair and it was dark and dull and not the vibrant copper I wanted and charged me a fortune! I found eSalon on Facebook and after a bit of discussion with Freddie I received my box of tricks! The instructions were easy and simple to follow and you have thought of everything! I've been coloring my hair for 35 years. My dad was a hairdresser. I've had every color hair you can think of, including some of the new colors (pink, purple, etc.). I love eSalon's formulas. They leave my hair in better condition after coloring than before. The color (now red) lasts and covers grays well. I wish they would add some fun colors or tints to their options, because I use their copper red and end up tinting it with some hot pink temporary color to get the color pop I like. All in all, it's a great system. Definitely recommend!

Very pleased with quality of product for the price. First time ever (and I am old) that I have not used a salon to dye my hair, and I wish I had started using this product years ago! This is the best hair color. Cuz of the way they customize your roots and ends. I have had so many hot spot blunders with my roots being a different color as the rest of my hair. This stuff is amazing. I was only going to get the introductory kit but I'm due for another color and this is so simple and so beautiful I'm going to stay on track with it.
