I am currently in college, and cannot afford the super expensive salon prices with as long of hair as I currently have. I am used to picking up 3 boxes from Walmart and dying my hair at home. I just finished dying my hair today with eSalon, and I am in love. I turned out better than expected, and we shall see how long lasting this darkish auburn hair is compared to a Walmart brand. Overall the fumes are very minimal, and the shampoo and conditioner that come in the kit smell pretty good. I love how everything you need is right there including gloves that actually allow me to get all the parts of my hair.

I've tried a few variations of blonde-- cool and warm tones, because I'm a neutral/cool girl that's always attracted to warm tones. I upload a photo of my current hair, my roots, and what color I want (from a Google search usually), and describe what I do and don't want (you know, like wanting strawberry blonde but not too brassy). They review and adjust each time. It's so hassle-free!! I've been pleased with each and every result. I plan to continue every 4-7 weeks for years and years to come!

I was nervous about trying the color, but I finally did & wow! Just a few stubborn gray hairs in the front (not enough to matter) color & coverage are perfect! It's so very close to my natural color but with just enough red to make it an amazing color. My hair feels great, too, not like the usual dryness that often comes with coloring. Overall, I am very, very pleased and love the color! So happy!!!

I went from mouse to auburn in one easy move! Friends say that I should have been born this colour. I applied it myself this time, in the past my daughter has done it for me, so I was a bit trepidatious but it was simple and looks good. I also love the facility to change the shade if I want to. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this product.

I am pretty much 100% grey-natural brunette gone blonde due to salon costs ($200/visit!). This works just as well and I can cover my roots every 4-5 weeks instead of 6-8. You can do the math! They’re great at adjusting color and advice etc.

This was definitely a huge step up from drug store color kits. I thought the instructions were done well. I liked that it was roots first and then ends. The color is great and my hair doesn't feel like it was just colored. Looking forward to the next kit to see how well it blends after a month of washing and grays coming in.

The team really took their time to get my colour right, asking questions and making suggestions and I couldn't be happier with the results! The dark ring I had around my roots is now beautifully blended with the rest of my hair and the colour is exactly what I wanted, a dark brown but with a lovely depth and a shimmery golden tint. I've Been using esalon for several months now, after originally thinking I would just go back to OTC hair color. But after you use esalon, and try OTC brands again, their are slight differences that made me go back to esalon. One of the biggest is the beautiful scent of all the products. The shampoo, color, conditioner, all SMELL great! That may not be important to you, but I love it!! Plus of course it all works well and the customer service is great!!

I was a bit hesitant to use eSalon for at-home color, but took a chance anyway. My hair felt and looked amazing after using this set and I got several compliments. I initially tried the semi-permanent hair gloss so I could see if the color worked for me. I loved it but it washed out after about 2 weeks. I emailed the team to update my next set to a more permanent color and received a response almost immediately. My next kit will include a longer lasting color and I cannot wait to get it.

The color turned out great. I want to try the demi-permanent once more, but after that I'm considering the permanent blend. The dye was able to give my hair consistent color all over, even though I had previously colored my hair and had multiple shades. I'm very happy with this blend.

I have sought the coppery/gold red color that is my natural color from both professionals and from a box. Have not always been satisfied, but the one time I was from a professional, the 2nd coloring was not the same shade and she left it on roots too long so there were actually two shades that did not blend. I wasn’t terribly hopeful about eSalon but finally decided to try it. Very happy with the outcome as it is exactly the shade I hoped for. Thank you!

Love, love my hair color, the red is "PERFECT RED". It also covered all my gray hair, I have tried many reds during my year's. But, this color is perfect for my skin tone. LOVE IT !!! 😍

I am an absolute novice at doing my hair, but decided to take the plunge as £55 every 6 weeks was costing too much. This personalised set is amazing, so easy to use. I'm very grateful for the stain remover as I did get in a little bit of a mess, but even that worked like a little miracle. Husband is so jealous as I now have no grey roots lol. Thank you so much.

I love to dye my hair. I even enjoy bleaching it from time to time. Every so often I also enjoy having my natural hair colour which is a dark dark near black brown. I was warned that there was a chance that this dye might not give me what I wanted....Well it did. Not only that it stayed in. No wash out or blonde peaking through like it would have had I got to a salon. It's happened before. I didn't mind, I honestly never mind. I'm just so happily surprised that it has worked as much as it has. I am telling everyone at work about this site and their product. It is truly prim. Thank you.

I was skeptical going in. How in the world could someone know my coloring when they have never seen my face?
Well, this is beyond amazing- I've always thought I had to go lighter but darker actually looks way better- and more natural. I'm 3 1/2 weeks in and my hair still looks great! My color is a demi so I thought it would be almost washed out by now but it is not! I still catch myself checking myself out in the mirror because it looks and feels so good. I should have tried this a long, long time ago.

This is the second time I have used the product and I really like the outcome. It covers my gray roots well and the ends don't darken. I am definitely using auto ship.

This is my first purchase with esalon, the directions were great. I am pleased with my color, it is very natural looking. It seems to be long lasting, I am in my third week of color and I am outside alot in the summer. It covered my grays completely. I will stick with esalon and abandon loreal!

Better than any box color in the store. I never can tell any change when using box color. My color selection made a big difference and turned out exactly as pictured and the tones are good for me.

I had tried several brands but none covered my mostly white hair. I had given up and than found ESalon. It was easy to use and my hair is now exactly the color I had hoped for. Not only that but my hair is smooth and shiny. This is the best hair color I have ever used.
