I am hooked! After setting up my profile I got an email recommending a different shade based on the photo I uploaded. The new color was spot-on perfect! Not one person asked if I'd changed my color, which looked great. The gray coverage is very good, my hair looks and feels healthy. The color kit is so easy to use, has everything you need and the final product looks great and my hair feels soft and healthy. Getting it shipped at intervals means I keep it up on a regular basis and I can adjust how often it is sent if I want to. Great product $25 v. $100's at the salon.

I love this color from esalon and I have never had anything come even close to my perfect shade, but they did! I am so happy right now. I constantly fight to get an even color from roots to ends. The times I’ve spend $200 plus at a salon never came out any better than my home dyes. So I’ve been consistently dying it myself for some time. I had very dark roots and lots of grays and whites to cover. I used gloves and hands (rather than the brush) because I have a pixie cut. So I literally just scrubbed it in like it was shampoo all over, all at once. My hair color is the same from root to tip. Amazing! And it feels thick, looks shiny and gorgeous.
The color is darker than I expected but seems to compliment my skin tone perfectly, so I’ll stick with it.
I was concerned that the color container did not have ingredients listed, as the other pieces did. I have an allergy to a preservative. So I swabbed it on a bandaid and did my own allergy test first. That’s the only non-amazing comment I have to give.
I’m already committed!

I was sceptical, however I've tried drugstore colors so why not! Much to my delight, my color is perfect. It's exactly what I described to my colorist through osmosis lol. She's amazing! I couldn't be more pleased.

So happy with everything about esalon. The service is Fab and the hair colour is exquisite. They have completely nailed what I was after and adjusted my colour accordingly when asked. Once I've coloured my hair feels silky soft and lightweight. Much much MUCH better than supermarket box colour. Can't recommend this product set and the team highly enough.

First time user. My daughter colored my hair the other night with a copper red color and I have had tons of complements. The color was perfect. It looks natural and is the same color my hair was when I was a teenager. I am in my 50's now. It covered all my grey hair and the product was easy to use.

I received the color set and I was very excited to try it. I was very impressed with the personalized instructions. The only thing I was not expecting was the strong smell of the color solution. I was a little skeptical about using because my scalp is very sensitive. When I mixed it and applied the color it stinged a little around the edges, but it didn’t last. I was thankful that it didn’t sting through the whole process and I was very pleased with the results. Is there a color mixture for sensitive scalps?

I wanted to change my hair from light brown with blonde highlights to a more solid dark golden brown. The color fill worked amazingly to even out the highlights and prepare for the color, without having to worry about a greenish hue during the transition. This is definitely salon quality! I received so many compliments on the shine and depth to the color, and my hair feels so healthy and soft. Due to the highlights, the color came out a little redder than anticipated, and overall a bit darker than I expected the dark golden brown to turn out. Also, the color is a demi-permanent, so touch ups will be required, but so far so good on the grey coverage. It's not like other dyes that I've done at home, where I can still see the grey hairs sprouting out. I will make some adjustments in regard to the specific shade for the next order, but I am beyond pleased with the results in terms of quality and affordability.

The expert tips were so helpful. The debth of color is so rich and the tone is just beautiful. Do purchase the kit with the clips, timer, and the cape, makes everything very easy and the shampoo and conditioner are so luxurious. Finally I have the color I've always wanted!

My base color of dark brown has lots of natural red in it and since grey has set in, any coloring can go carrot-like if it's not done well...Kudos to eSalon as they NAILED the color perfectly on the first try. I was very hesitant to try eSalon and color my own hair at home; however, after reviewing the website, I decided to give it a try and am I ever glad I did! My hair color is amazing and feels incredible too and it was so easy to do!
I have highlighted hair and needed base color to cover those pesky gray hairs that frame my face and show up in my part. I am a complete novice at hair color and coloring at home. But the instructions were idiot proof! The entire process was very easy from ordering to amazing hair color.

I will admit, that i was really apprehensive about using the product, but was tired of paying 5X the money and NOT getting what i wanted. OMG...SO HAPPY!!! I am so happy i gave it a try, the results are AMAZING! I love the color that my colorist..Danielle...mixed for me!! So now you have a client for life (or until im too old to color anymore..haha) 😁

I have been coloring my hair for over 20 years, using box colors from local chain stores and occasionally treating myself to a professional color. eSalon is, by far, the best box color I have ever used. It has amazing gray coverage, easy to follow instructions and even smells great! How does that even happen? I normally smell like chemicals for a few days after coloring my hair, but not with this product...I love it. I also love the packaging.

I have been using ESalon custome color for 2 years now---I love the shine and all over coverage!!! love love love it!!!! my favorite custome color is red, but they have changed my color over 5 times at my request...Covers the grey completely. Would not use anything else..I get a monthly delivery...so I don't have to look like a skunk--always right on time...Thank you ESalon for making my hair look so healthy and pretty at 59 years of age!!

I used to be a natural redhead. As I got older it changed. A student made a comment about my blond hair and another student told him it used to be red. I started coloring with my mom’s help. She used to be a beautician. I tried e-salon. The steps were different than she had ever done and she loves my red hair once again. So do I, and I get compliments from others too. Thank you!

Your color is made just for you, way better than the big store colors. If you want to make a last minute change in color your colorist can do it no problem. I love it.

I really like my custom color. It was easy to apply and the results make my hair soft with a richer color than I have gotten before from a salon or a drugstore brand.

I bought the custom colour set a few months ago but put off using it until yesterday. It all came in lovely packaging, which I know isn't important for hair colour but added that extra touch.
The instructions were really easy to follow and the product was great. I have long hair and it covered all of it with spare.
The colour has come out just how I wanted it and my hair isn't really dry at the ends!
100% recommend :)

I was able to get the formula from my hair stylist because I was moving away. eSalon matched it perfectly. I'm now waiting for eSalon to offer my my very color in a "root touch-up spray". I don't like the mascara wand...slow boat to china, messy, leaches onto other fabrics, etc. A quick spray is all I have time for anyway! Can you guys do that?

My last visit to a hair salon ended with a color that was much too dark, due to overlapping and an itchy scalp because I seem to be allergic to the product they used. Before that I tried to color my hair at home and for years I searched the stores for "my" perfect hair color. Thanks to eSalon the search is over and I finally found th color I always wanted. Getting your custom color set is a great experience from a to z - the support is great and the quality of the products is fantastic! I could not be happier!

I love this system. Having done box sets from the store I was never sure how it would turn out. Since using esalon I get so many compliments on my hair color. Even from hair salon.

I have never colored my own hair. I followed the instructions but I was a little on the sloppy side putting the color on my hair. However it came out great. I really like the color and will continue to use ESalon. I look forward to trying other color options in the future. Thanks so much

I am blown away. This is exactly the color I asked for. I even spoke with a couple of different colorists to help me obtain what I was really looking for. I had started to lighten (grey) and was looking very dull. I wanted something brighter, but still natural looking. That’s exactly what I got. No one noticed the color. Instead they thought I had gotten a cut or a new style. Thank you!!
