My friend did my hair color for me Monday night and even though it said only apply roots we pulled through for the last ten minutes and I LOVE IT! My hair looks and feels wonderful!
Only one thing I wish was if it had more highlights - the color is kind of flat - all one color - I did have highlights and low lights in before - copper and blonde. I would like to replicate the highlights at home too! Great product - no problems at all!

I have natural dark brown hair. I had been getting professional highlights. It was starting to look almost too blonde. The pandemic came and many of us scrambled to do something at home. I decided it was time to get close to my normal hair color. I wanted light brown so I didn’t look washed out. The color I received was just what I’d hoped for. No red, orange, or copper tint. Just a true natural looking soft brown. Very happy with the texture and softness. To my colorist, great job. I got just what I asked for!!

because of COVID-19 I missed 2 hair appointment coloring because they had to be closed. I was getting desperate. My friend goes to the same hair salon and she was desperate also. She found you and I liked her color so I tried you. I love the color. I am use to going to the hairdresser for color so I was leary about doing it myself. My daughter volunteered to come over and do it. We both liked it. I will have auto ship from now on.

What a great experience! I loved taking the quiz and uploading photos of what my hair looks like at it’s best. The directions were clear and I loved the color. My roots blended into the rest of my hair and ALL my grays are hidden.I may never go back to the salon for color!

Brought this and thought I’d give it a try. Wanted to go from cool blonde to brunette and look as natural yet flattering as possible. Sent my pic and the stylist choose the perfect brunette for me. Received the kit in the cutest package and was amazed at how beautiful my color came out. My hair was so hydrated despite it being dry from processing blonde before. Ordered this product as lockdown started . Key worker so never had a chance to use until this week . I love it. Perfect colour and exact to what I was looking for . It was mine. I have highlighted and low lighted salon hair with grey roots, and man I was not looking forward to this. I picked a color and asked for stylist review. At 10 mins later I got a call and she told me that she thought I picked wrong. I told her to just do what she thought was best. She also told me to do roots only, I had assumed I was doing all the way through, so be sure to talk it over with whomever calls you! I choose the brush method, but next time will try the bottle. I have ALOT of hair, I don't have clips which is a problem. Definitely need to buy them. Application was still easy enough, I think the hardest part is where to do it since I don't have a stainless steel kitchen sink I was worried about washing out in there. Overall the color is great, hair is very shiny. I am glad not to see over an inch of grey anymore. There's really no one to see it but my zoom friends have said it looks like my regular hair. My hairdresser has retired with Covid, so I will be doing this for a while to save money. I don't actually enjoy the multi hour experience in the salon anyway, and why go through the hassle? I will be doing highlights at some point too.

I am new to eSalon but I was so impressed by my first order. Everything was beautifully presented in a sturdy box, and the colour I chose was perfect. I found the colour itself very good, there was only a faint but pleasant fragrance and it was not runny. I did the patch test the day before (not quite 48 hours before) and it was fine. I had no itching whatsoever which I have generally had in the past with high street colours.

I must admit, I was a bit hesitant when ordering a color kit from eSalon since I have always had my hair colored at a salon. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic bringing my monthly salon visits to a screeching halt, I decided to give it a try. I figured if I didn't like it, at least I was at home and no one except my husband and dog would see it!
Well, let me just say, I simply cannot believe how amazing this color is! I took the color quiz and also mentioned to my colorist that I have a section of my hair that is "color resistant" in the sense that it always pulls warm and therefore needs a blue toner to offset the brassiness that I get otherwise. When I received the kit today, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was already invested, so I gave it a try! My hair came out PERFECTLY! It not only matched my current shade, but it toned down the brassiness, and it was amazingly shiny and soft! I am definitely a fan of this company and I would tell anyone who is "on the fence" about purchasing this product to just give it a try! You won't be disappointed! I am so pleased I tried esalon, Initially it was only through necessity because of lockdown but the whole experience has been amazing.
Don’t think I’m going to get my hairdresser to colour my hair anymore as I love esalon colour so much and at a fraction of the price.

I have been using eSalon's product between going to my stylist for the past two years. My stylist is not available due to social distancing, so I have been on my own. Well, not really because eSalon has kept me going. I have lots of grays (40% to 50%) in the front and my custom color set covers them. My hair grows fast, so I like that I can easily color my roots at any time of the day. AND - I just tried highlights for the first time - they worked out great! Perfect for the summertime.

I used my kit today. It took over an hour, a friend helped me color the sides and back of my head. I followed the directions completely. I haven’t had color this good ever!!! It is perfect. Just enough red and copper to give me the color I so desperately want!! Thank you! 😊

This was my first time coloring my own hair! Needless to say, I was a little concerned! The color my colorist, Tania, chose for me was a perfect match! A difficult task, choosing my color when she didn’t know me.

The hair dye set is awesome. Everytime I use it I love the way my hair looks. It is so shiny. It covers the gray and love the color. Above all it does not test on animals.

I love, love, love my hair color that you make for me. Besides the gorgeous color, I noticed that I am barely shedding any hair now. At 76 years of age I want to be able to keep my thick hair. I found a clip of my hair from when I was in college and compared it to my present color you have made for me and I swear it is exactly the same color. I didn't start coloring my hair until I was in my forties and started getting gray hair. All I have ever wanted to do was color my hair the same color mother nature gave me. I never could until I started using your custom color. I couldn't be more delighted. My daughter is going to start using your color too. Thank you so much.

What started as a way to get rid of my grays and color my hair during Covid, has become my preferred way to color my hair. It doesn’t fade. It doesn’t get brassy. The color is perfect and my hair is shiny and healthy afterwards!

For those professional guys who have their hair colored by a professional colorist, I would certainly recommend you try eSalon.
I did and they did a fantastic job of matching up my hair color with a photo.
If you have ever watched your colorist color your gray hair, you can certainly follow the instructions provided, plus watch some videos, as I did. You will NOT be disappointed.
You can also speak with a colorist on the phone, as I also did.
I'm so happy that I took the suggestion from an email and checked into eSalon.

Color was ver close to what I have used. I have nothing to dislike about you! My hair was soft manageable I would highly recommend and have to friends and family... I have a daughter-in-law who is a stylist and she was happy with results 😊👍🏻

First time using at home color for whole head touch-up. The color choice process was easy to do and the resulting color accurate. It was also nice to have more control over selecting the right shade.

I am very happy with the perfect color made for me for my root touch up. I have never colored my hair before and I am very pleased because it came out perfect! I will be doing my own root touch up every 7 weeks from now on. I will only have to go to salon for highlights and cuts. Money in the bank!

I loved the color golden medium brown. Good lasting gray root coverage. It was the first time I colored my hair and I followed the directions to the tee. Directions easy to understand and I liked taping them to the mirror to follow. Procedure a little messy but now I know what to expect so next session Will be easier.

I was hesitant to try eSalon because I have been going to the salon for the past 5 years for color. Due to the pandemic and the shut down, I was not able to get to the salon and I really needed my hair colored. I’m SO GLAD I tried eSalon! My colorist was great! She was responsive and she put together EXACTLY the color I was looking for. It is a luxury having someone else color your hair, but I have been paying $90 for a solid color at the salon. For $23 I did it at home and achieved my perfect color. I probably won’t be coloring my hair at the salon anymore and will be sticking with eSalon!

Covid isolation ... wanted to do my part lighter to cover the one inch of gray, would like to gradually go lighter to gray.... excellent support, pleased with results! Much better than drug store boxes!

I'll admit, I'm blowing up my social media raving about my new color. As a retired hair dresser, I had to let it go and relinquish control, and am so happy with my color. I was nervous about using this way of colouring my hair as I have always attended a salon. I am very pleased as the colour covered all my grey roots (I have very thick, non-porous hair) and the shade was just right. I was also very pleasantly surprised that the shampoo and conditioner supplied are great quality and left my hair soft and shiny!
