I don't always write reviews, but ........ I think the last time I colored my hair was when I was in college and that was more than 25 years ago. I did it a few times and never did it again. Then Covid happened and we are all stuck at home. I was looking more witchy than ever....LOL. I decided to try coloring my own hair again. To my very surprise and with my older daughter's help I DID IT! It came out SO NICE and didn't cost me an arm and a leg! I couldn't be happier with my hair and my wallet...WOW!

I absolutely love this color! You could instantly see the color after letting my hair dry out. It's so awesome to see my hair get light. Going to adjust my color to make it lighter, but this was a great start for my hair journey! Thank you!

Overall I was very pleased with the products.
However, the colour mixed for me was darker than I would have liked. Having looked at the pie chart illustrating the proportions of colour in the dye, it turned out exactly as I would have expected.
The dye also beautifully covered all my grey hair. It performed far better than the over-the-counter dyes which I have previously been using.
The whole colouring process left me with lovely glossy, well conditioned hair.Therefore the product is great.
A week after dying my hair, I used the Tint Rinse which brightened up my hair colour.
I have been in contact with eSalon, and they are going to adjust the colour for my next batch.
I had been initially wary about having a hair colour mixed for me without any personal contact. (At least with over-the-counter products, you can get an idea by looking at the box!)
However, whilst darker than I wanted, the colour is good, not a blanket 'dead' colour, and a better quality.
I look forward eagerly to my next order.

I have been a customer of E-salon for awhile now, I have never been disappointed. When I feel like a change I simply contact a hair colorist and my request is always met. I am very pleased with my results, my hair is Long, strong and shiny. The best thing of all is that the hair color looks natural and covers well. I order every 12 weeks so that says something for it's resilience. I highly recommend this product.

Best home hair colour on the market. Very clear instructions and good quality gloves. I felt I needed more conditioner and I have shoulder length hair. The colour was a bit darker than I expected but after a couple of washes was fine.

This is my second order. The first one was OK, but I have very resistant roots.
The colorist adjusted the formula, and it looks awesome.
To be honest, it looked dark when just finished, but it dried beautifully.

First time I used the custom color set to achieve unbelievable blonde/copper all over color. My hair turned out so soft, shiney and the color is perfect. I was terrified to try this, as I was a life-long junkie to paying a hair salon gal huge money and never achieved the results I got today....on my own. I'll be back.

I’ve used numerous companies, products, very high end salons, in my 58 years this is the first time since I started coloring at age 28 I can honestly say how perfect my color is. Not only that but the even color and let’s talk about grey coverage soooo many even guarantee, Not! Esalon covered the grey! I am wowed! To go on a regular plan now!!!

This is my second time using eSalon hair products & I’m very pleased with the outcome. My hair still feels soft after this latest color treatment and I noticed that I lost very little hair after every shampoo, provided that I continue to use eSalon Shampoo & Conditioner - sure enough, these products are of high quality. SO! I have thick, easily frizz, dry, textured hair and color always makes my hair dull but I don't have that problem with this product. Once I asked for an adjustment b/c I thought the roots were too dark and the next shipment they fixed it with a color that was beautiful. My friend tells me, your hair color is on point everytime I have a fresh bottle and it doesn't fade unnaturally.

I’m so happy with the hair color set I ordered - Medium Brown (Ash Mahogany).
The results are perfect, the color is a lovely warm brown with ash & mahogany tones running through it. The kit was very easy to understand & use, my hair is now silky smooth & in excellent condition.
I would recommend using eSalon to anyone who’s looking for a salon color to use at home, I will be.

Definitely the right hair color product for me! The colorist found just the right color for me, I get so many compliments on my hair. it covers my gray really well, and my hair feels good and looks healthy after a color. It also comes right out of my skin with the color remover wipe included in the kit.

I’ve never colored my hair before. I’ve always had it done at a salon. I’m using the root touch up kit and it’s been great. Before a new kit is sent, I’m always asked if I need to “tweak” the color. It’s been great!

I can’t believe I am doing this myself and it is sooooo easy. I had to try it with the Covid stay at home orders and will never go back to paying $$$$ for inconsistent results from my stylists. I live between 2 homes and this has been a great find!!!

When I decided to remove the brown color and accept my all white hair I had no idea how great my look would be. The salon did a beautiful job and I went to them for 2 years. Then it became necessary to color my hair at home . I had no success, my hair looked fried and the color was not at all what I wanted. I saw the ratings for eSalon and I am thrilled beyond words with their service and products. What truly blows my mind is how they got it right with a photo and a statement from me . Not only is it right, it’s better that the salon . I made an adjustment on my next order, mostly out out curiosity, to see if I want my platinum color a little darker. I LOVE THIS SERVICE.

I really enjoy this product. I think the subscription is a fantastic idea. I changed my delivery from ever 6 to every 4 weeks, just because I think that the mail is taking forever because of the pandemic. I highly recommend eSalon!

So this time, you guys hit the nail on the head. The color is PERFECT. Auburn highlights are lovely and you sent me enough to get my extremely thick hair completely saturated. I tend to get bored with my color after a few months, so I will probably change it up later, but right now I am thrilled. Just keep it the same. Well done.

When I saw the size of the bottles I thought no way it would be enough. My hair is long and super thick. It was actually way more than enough. I followed the easy directions and got exactly what I wanted! I am so pleased with how it turned out. The perk is I saved the 180 dollars I usually drop at the salon. Im anxious to see if there is much fading or if the color will stay vibrant. I use professional products for colored hair so I am hoping it stays looking amazing.

I love the color the hair color advisor recommended. The product didn't hurt my fine hair and actually gave me more body. I have short hair and am a "certain age". I would love to see a video created for those of us with short hair and less flexible bodies.

I’m very happy with esalon hair colour it fully covers grey hair and leaves hair very soft and shiny after colour wash unlike normal box colours. I’ll definitely use it again an highly recommend it.

I come from the beauty industry, have owned salons and put a lot of color on my own hair over the years. I have the availability to any kind of product available to try, but this color was one of the best I have ever used. Always the skeptic I thought this would be so much easier than mixing my own but only if it did not dry my hair out or damage it. Always willing to try something new I gave it a try. After about a month into my first color I am still quite impressed, the color has held up great! My hair does not feel dry and there has been no real fading. Box colors from the store are tough on your hair, this product is not. Excellent job eSalon, I'm impressed.

I love the color set! It is so natural looking, and my hair is super soft. Great grey coverage! I’ve changed my color up from time to time, and every time has been so natural looking, and spot on! I liked the fact that there was everything in the box a professional would use. Gloves, barrier cream to stop staining on skin and easy instructions. The colour was darker at first I thought but after 2 washes it’s perfect. Definitely buying this on a regular basis.

Well I am not disappointed...

I am so pleased with every eSalon experience that I have had. I first tried demi permanent, and the color was so wonderful, that my second order was for permanent coloring. Jasmine gave me beautiful color both times. It matches my natural red color better than any salon coloring that I have had. I am thrilled. My hair color is unusual, so I originally sent three pictures and followed up with a phone call. I gave additional information when I was switching to permanent color. ESalon gathers a lot of information, and I am sure that this enables them to deliver an outstanding product to their customers! Thanks, eSalon!!

Overall, I am happy with the product and the result. Great coverage for greys, so long as I put it in the right places. I am going to keep my membership, but maybe ask if there is a modification to prevent the color from getting a bit brassy? I've used it 3 months in a row and it's definitely better than anything I have bought at the drug store, and the beauty supply (as far as consistency and smell, and being less drying for sure). So really 4.5 stars...

I took this seriously and answered the questionnaire truthfully. My husband applied the color and I am so happy with the results. Watching the videos provided by eSalon was very helpful. My hair looks great and my husband is pretty proud of his new skills.

I can not believe how good this came out. The color match was perfect, and that never happens to me!! I've never been happier with an in-home color, ever. It looks so natural which is so hard to achieve with my fair skin and brownish reddish blondish (grayish!!!) hair. Thank you so much!!! I am sooooo happy!!! Love love love!
