Not covering my graysUsually, I don’t give low reviews, but after following the directions very very carefully and even keeping the hair dye in my hair for a bit longer for those stubborn grays, I came out of the shower and noticed that my grays are still very visible. This is the second, actually maybe third, time I’ve been using the dye and the last time I thought maybe I’m not doing something correctly. Stubborn rootsAlthough the change a a bit darker color did help a bit, the top of my head and sides still don't want to take as well where my roots are whiter. Not what I thoughtI explained that I had highlights and low lights and asked if I could put this system over my hair. They said yes. When it arrived, my instructions stated that only to do the roots! Not to let it get on any of my previously died HAIR. I feel this was not clear at all. And now I can’t find any way to return this. My customer color (sad face 😦)Well I asked for light ash Blonde with a hint of purple tint to it. In fact I even sent a note way before my hair color was shipped just to stress the purple tint. I got medium ash blonde with not even a hint of purple. I was very disappointed and sent two messages back to my colorist and I received no reply. Product is Fine. Service Stinks. Overcharged.I like eSalon and the color was good. My hair felt soft and wasn't dried out or frizzy after application. However, all the good things are overshadowed by poor customer service. I have attempted MANY times to have the tax rate corrected on my account, but they refuse to make the change even though I've provided detailed proof from the state and county tax authorities where I live. They are overcharging me 5% on every order. Not a lot, but it adds up over time. The money is less of an issue that the fact that they argue back and forth thru messages and absolutely refuse to correct the problem. Doesn't dye my hair at all.I ordered my first custom color set, and it didn't dye my hair at all. The color had too much brown in it and I wanted more purple in it. I contacted customer service and they gave me my second color set for free. I told them to make the dye stronger and add more purple to it. They didn't listen to me, and the hair dye came with even more brown and less purple pigment. This time, it slightly made my hair darker brown, but the dye didn't last long in my hair. There was not enough application to cover my hairMy hair is not that long but there was not enough color to cover ends. As a result it covered only 75% of my hair. ColorI just colored my hair for the new year and am unfortunately unhappy with it. I found the instructions a little difficult to follow (unless you have someone helping you) but most of all the color was not quite what I was hoping and the coverage was spotty in places and didn't cover the gray around my hairline. Fifth Element OrangeI am mostly disappointed in myself for trusting something I saw on the internet. I trusted that I found somewhere to get professional quality dye but that’s not at all what I received. I wanted to take my hair from blonde to a cute natural copper red? Easy right? Nope I look like a pumpkin. Even with giving pictures of my current hair color and hair goals. I’m beyond disappointed and upset. Too top off the insult, my hair now feels dry and damaged from DEPOSITING PIGMENT BACK INTO MY HAIR. That makes zero sense, there was less damage after the bleaching a year ago than there is now. A warm chocolate mousse volcano...I can't review the final colour, because I couldn't finish. After waiting 15 minutes for the root application, I went back to finish, and had an eruption on my bathroom counter. The bottle was warm, the smell of ammonia was overwhelming, and the colour had completely changed consistency and looked like chocolate mousse. Somehow the dark brown with a neutralizer to get rid of the red turned my roots LIGHTER, and of course, I still have the red I was trying to get rid of, and was assured by my colourist would be gone for good. My hair is naturally a light / medium brown. ***Edit*** A replacement has been sent, a demi-permanent, rather than permanent. For all their "shock and awe" that this happened, it's happened to others. HorribleThis was too dark, did not cover grey, and dried my hair out more than any other color I have ever used before. You couldn’t even tell that it had been colored. Just made it look very dry and unhealthy. No difference in color. DisappointedI had my first purchased last October ‘24 and it didn’t work to my hair and i still have some color left. I was shocked when i checked in my email i had ordered notification last December 8, 2024. I directly contacted customer service in the same day just a couple of minutes difference to report the issue. Jackelyn who reply me after a day and said the item is already ship (how come??) just received the notification and ship already!!! She adviced me to wait my ordered to arrived and return the item in order to get a refund and i will pay the shipping. I am charged 2x of shipping. I am very very disappointed of the item as well their responsed of my issued. Once i will received my refund.. i will never never order again. didn't worki got a brownish purple dye (not even what i asked for) and it didn't work at all. just ended up with my original hair color, and left it very damaged. i followed the directions exactly right, yet it still came out horrible. not to mention the process was incredibly difficult, so many things to mix together and application was very hard to understand in the directions. the fumes from the chemicals almost made me pass out, there's no reason it should've been such an ordeal for nothing, basically wasted my whole day. definitely not buying from y'all again. 1 von 1 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. The WorstI don't know if my colorist just doesn't know how to do her job or what the deal is, but my hair is nothing like it was supposed to be. I have medium blonde hair and I ordered a light copper color. My hair turned out DARK brown with a tint of red. Think chocolate cherry. It was nothing like the picture and I don't even know how it turned out so dark unless they made a mistake and sent me the wrong formulation. Even the undertones were completely wrong. I've dyed my hair consistently my whole life so I know it wasn't a problem on my end. I've washed my hair 15+ times in the last two days and now I have to go out and buy color oops to try to get it out. I'm so disappointed. When I emailed customer service all they did was say "oh no! Sorry you don't love your color! Don't dye your hair for 3 weeks or you'll get hot roots!" Then said they would send me my new formulation. As if I would ever buy from them again after this. I'd more like an explanation on how my color is so drastically different than it was supposed to be. Obviously whoever is doing the color formulations doesn't have any actual hair experience. Too darkThe packaging and what comes in the package is wonderful. Everything is clearly marked with directions. I sent in a photo of my current hair and unfortunately what they sent me was too dark and had no highlights. Just a flat color, which is not what I’m used to with the color that I normally use. While the color covers great the first week after that the grey is back.Not only does the color not last on the grey/silver it also leaves a brassy tone to my hair that's even worse than normal store brands. Disappointed on hair color productThe color that was sent did not take to my hair. I had to go buy Loreal which did a great job covering my hair. My daughter who is a licensed cosmetologist did my color, and it looked great when it was processing, but when I rinsed my hair the outcome was very disappointing. I don't like the stripe lookYesterday, 2 Dec 24, I finally had a chance to use the newest color {Medium Brown (Golden)}. This is the 3rd color I have tried per the colorist Jennifer, and the 3rd fail…for lack of a better term. I feel like I’m back to square one with the “stripe” look on my roots. Granted the 2nd color was off, but better than the first and third. This recent color gave me pause when the color looked so light in the bottle when it first arrived, but it did darken up a bit before using it…whew. When mixed, it did darken up as well, and I left it on 45-50 minutes just in case. But alas, I have that stripe look. I thought it may be the lighting, but today I look like it’s time to color my roots and it was just done yesterday. My husband says it doesn’t look “that bad” and he mentioned that I do have spray to cover it up until we do it again…ho hum. My roots look “tinted”, but not colored and I am far from looking natural with the stripe down the middle of my head. I don’t like spending money to look goofy and I’d like to get away from using the spray on color to look halfway decent, but here I am. I have used all your recommendations, but I don’t see my hair getting lighter to ever match the color/s you recommend. Perhaps others like the stripe look, but it's just not for me...I don't like it. Does not workTotally disappointed, unfortunately. The dye didn’t work at all. After following all the instructions, I applied the dye to my roots, waited 35 minutes, and the result was incomprehensible. I ended up with slightly lighter roots but no color at all. Zero Gray CoverageWe even left the color on for longer than 30 minutes. It was so awful. It just rinsed right out and left all the gray. Went down to Kroger, bought Schwarzkopf Keratin color in Onyx Black and it covered all the gray and delivered amazing hair color. Root and Hair colorMy roots took however, my hair is still too light. I don’t know if it’s because I’m only suppose to work the diluted color on my hair for few minutes. The color is light and dull.
