I’ve been looking for my natural shade (born ginger here) and couldn’t find it, no stylist could do it, so I went and bleached and did fashion colors for a couple years. I was ready to get back to natural for a bit and your custom formula hit the nail on the head! I have the color of my youth back thanks to eSalon. You have a customer for life!

I decided to try eSalon while I was pregnant and didn’t want to risk going to the salon. I was super impressed! I had thick pregnancy hair and had enough colour to cover everything. I had significant grey hair to cover and ends that had been highlighted previously, and the instructions and colour worked together to help even everything out. I even found time at about 5 weeks postpartum to colour my hair at home, which went a long way toward making me feel a bit more normal after giving birth. So far, so good! Can’t wait to see how my next colour turns out.

So impressed by the color I was sent. It matches my own color so well and made my hair healthier than it was before. My grey on my temples was not completely covered, but that may be because I’ve not colored it in almost ten years. I’ll be more attentive next application. I was initially dubious about ordering a hair colour virtually but my goodness it's an absolute game changer! The whole process is so so easy and I found myself getting really excited when browsing the available products. Its like they knew exactly what I wanted - which is to gradually reduce the copper tones in my hair to a more neutral colour. Their suggestions were super helpful and my first colour was perfect. I've ordered the highlights kit as part of my next order and I can't wait for it to arrive. It's not a pushy subscription service, it's totally on your individual terms and you can choose how little or often you get an order. I emailed to say I wanted my next colour to be a bit cooler in tone and they had responded within a day which was amazing. As someone who has had their fair share of hair colour nightmares, I have total faith in esalon. Absolutely give it a go!

My first time trying and the color match was spot on. I was nervous at first as the root color was jet black, but turned out perfect. There are a few more steps than I am use to with box color, it is worth it. Fist time my hair didn't feel like straw after coloring. It's only been a week and I shampooed twice, so far so good with the color not fading quickly. Great grey coverup too!

Sent eSalon pix of my fancy salon demi-perm color. Asked them to match that as covid had salon shut down & I had lots of roots! They nailed the color. I did convince my hubby to help me color. The back is hard to get and I do not want missed spots - I want it perfect. Glad eSalon offers demi-perm color! My hair and scalp are super dry so the demi works well and lasts forever since I only wash once a week at the most. Salons here are open and I have gone back for some trims - but I am sticking with eSalon to save not just money - but lots of TIME. This color is as good as what I used to get at the salon in every respect. My stylist approves of my hubby's application and the condition of my hair as well. Get a friend or partner to help and this is great! Without hubby's help I might be back at the salon because for me getting the back by myself really is frustrating.

I LOVE my colour!! My hair feels/looks so soft, shiny and glossy!! I have used every home dye on the shelves, this is like nothing else! I love how the roots blend perfectly into the rest of the hair with no obvious harsh lines. The kit is super easy to set up and use. The product has a gel like texture so easy to distribute throughout the hair either with the bottle directly with the nozzle or a colouring brush. My 1st time buying, will not be the last!! I have used esalon for some time now and it would take something very drastic to happen for me to change. I have received many compliments on my colour and it has indeed fooled a few hairdressers that didn’t realise that my hair was dyed.

I used your product from 2013-2016 & was a lovely blond. Thereafter, I decided to go back to my still prevalent natural brunet color, with blond highlights provided by a hair stylist. Now (10/2021) that I am post 60, I'm tired of my hair looking drab in-between stylist visits. Plus being retired, the cost of a stylist visit seemed unnecessary. My hair had become dry and my hair colour was fading dramatically two weeks after dying due to environmental causes and the menopause. I had tried so many different brands off the shelf to no avail. I saw eSalon online and although it is more expensive than off the shelf hair dyes I was desperate and decided to give it a go. This hair colour is brilliant. It doesn’t fade, my hair is in much better condition and the colour, mixed to my specifications is perfect. Everybody has commented on how natural and healthy my hair looks. Try this hair dye you won’t be disappointed.

Happy with my color! Exactly what I wanted. Hair feels great after styling, not dry or coarse. I will be using this again in 8 weeks. I do feel the packaging is excessive. It’s really pretty and brands the product as upscale, but costs them a 5 star rating from tree-hugger me. Good job on this formula eSalon!

From the tidy box of kit to the easy to display and follow instructions and the end colour, I loved this! Looks just like I’ve been to the salon. My one thing I’d add to the instructions is to make sure your finger is over the top of the bottle opening in the final step of adding water to the colouring bottle…I shook it everywhere! Oops! Thank you e-salon for my first and lovely darker blonde hair colour.

Easy questions to complete to help work out the right hair colour for you & excellent customer service. Just done my first colour & I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out. I usually use a well known box colour brand & my e-salon colour is so much better! Nice even cover that’s blended my roots in brilliantly with the rest of my hair. Greys covered well!

I was very sad that I could not go to my local Aveda Institute for my hair color and cut because our Governor closed the school. I could not find my exact shade at any grocery or pharmacy store. Thanks to eSalon, I was perfectly matched up with my original reddish shade. ESalon's formula covered my stubborn gray hair and gave my hair a lot of depth.
The eSalon custom dye did not sting my scalp like other otc dyes. Thank you, eSalon

I love using e-salon because I find it's not as harsh as salon chemicals. My hair even feels and looks healthier. Even my hair dresser is impressed as I use this colour for touch ups in between cuts :)

This DIY coloring is amazing! I do not have long hair, but what I do have is thick and there's a lot of it so "box color" never covers everywhere, no matter how hard I tried. THe color is TRUE and BRILLIANT and applies like a dream. I use the brush and bowl, it's so much easier to control the application. I think this may be the best thing invented since sliced bread! I only needed to make a slight adjustment to my color for my next order. Very, very pleased!
