Can’t get it rightMy color has been wrong since day 1. I uploaded the color (pic from FB) and the name that I obtained from Facebook and an esalon rep on messenger. I emailed the pic and name as we’ll order 1 wrong, called and emailed again, sent pic and name, again WRONG. 3rd time uploaded and email name and pic and called over 5 times since day 1, STILL WRONG. I’ve asked for a manager 2x still waiting on the 2 calls. There have been at least 5-6 calls and 10 emails, multiple uploads of the color and name. Can get it right and it’s the customers fault. That’s how they make you feel. No apology, no expedited shipment. I used the 2nd color they sent mistake too dark. They have never said why they can’t get me what I want. It didn't cover my roots and the colors don't match...I colored my roots around the beginning of November and the color didn't totally cover my roots and the color that it did deposit, didn't match the rest of my hair....overall, I'm not thrilled with this. Disappointed by Esalon!I placed with Esalon, until now 29 orders consisting of 1 bottle of color and 1 bottle of conditioner. For these purchase, my bill was $31.99 which included free shipping. I was then satisfied with the products and with their prices. Suddenly this bill jumped to $40.49! I am disappointed. So, I am cancelling the purchase of the conditioner from this day forward. Had a few issues with this color setI’ve been using esalon for about two years now, and overall I’ve been very happy. The color always looks great, and I’ve been really loving the highlight set too. However, this last one did not go well. Firstly, the dye had a nasty fishy smell to it (a card in the box said there was a new formulation, so I’m guessing that’s why). Not a huge deal, but just kind of gross. My main problem however, is that when I washed the dye out of my roots at the end, it must have stained my highlights on the way out because they’re now almost completely covered up! I’ve touched up my roots with highlights a number of times before with no issues, so I’m guessing it might have something to do with the new color formulation as well.
