Just perfect! My first purchase & try at coloring my gray roots at homeMy hair is totally gray and the salon was foiling it to a medium golden blonde. This color is better than what I was getting at the salon - and at a 75% less cost. My hair feels better conditioned and is certainly less frizzy using your shampoo and conditioner. As good as salon color!I was skeptical at first, but I have been looking for ways to save money and decided to try this versus going to the salon. The process was super easy and I loved the instruction card and extra care they send you with the dye. After I finished the process and dried my hair, I was so amazed! My gray is gone!!!!I use to use box dye from the hair store. It never worked on my gray. I recently went natural. When I permed my hair, i didn't have a problem with the gray. I would let the dye sit in my hair for twice, or three times as long as the box said to try to cover the gray. But when I washed it out, it would wash right off the gray. But esalon is awesome!!! They got it right the first time!! My hair was all one color, including the gray. I love it and I get so many comments and questions about how I covered the gray. My hair is so soft. Finally happy with my hair...I was flitting between boxed colour from the supermarket and in-salon colour when I could afford it. Even after a salon colour my roots and ends never matched up. I have fairly dark brown hair with a fair amount of grey through the top, my roots always came out a yellowy brown and the end very dark, and flat brown with no shine. I sent eSalon a photo of my two tone hair and they sent me special instructions to try and even out the colour. After the first use the colour is totally even, root to tip, and has left me with the rich, dark and glossy hair I was born with, without any yellow or black looking areas. I highly recommend eSalon and would suggest including a photo even though it's optional! It's the first time in years that I've felt 100% confident with my colour.
