I wanted a shade lighter. It made my hair a shade darker instead.I have medium/dark brunette hair. I wanted a shade lighter, went with ash dark blonde. This "blonde" turned my brunette hair darker by a shade or two . I made sure to follow all the instructions, but have a darker result.
