Demi-permanent isn't fadingI wanted to add more ash tones to my bleached hair that was like a very light-brown color with orangey-yellowish undertones so I did a lot of research and found this product. I thought it was really cool how they could custom make your color with personalized instructions. Unfortunately, I thought that leaving in the product longer would make my hair color last longer, but my hair ended up so much darker than I wanted it to be. This is my fault though as the instructions said to leave it for 15 minutes and I left it for 45. I asked for a medium-brown color, and after dyeing it and washing it out I was really relieved that I ended up switching my order from a permanent dye to demi-permanent dye before it shipped (great customer service btw). However, now that I'm trying to make the color fade by washing it a lot it doesn't seem like its fading :( Just for some background information, I have very dark dark brown asian hair as my natural color, and the color ended up almost matching my roots which I was kind of sad about because I spent a lot of money previously on bleaching my hair at salons and balayages and what not, so I was sad to see my light color completely vanish. Color is excellent:dark brown with mahogany undertones.I get compliments all the time about my color. No one would guess that was NOT from a salon. I love the easy application and easy shipping. Best change I ever madeNot only is my custom color perfect, my hair is so shiny and soft after using the color, shampoo and conditioner. No Change!What I like best about eSalon color is that it doesn't fade over the 6 weeks between treatments. I can do a hair color after I get a hair cut, and no one notices a change in color, much different from when I used the Supermarket brands. And it also leaves my hair in a more shiny condition.
