Great colour, horrible feelingWhile I love the personalized care I received with my first time the feeling of my hair afterward is not something I care to repeat. I read the instructions four times (because I'm weird like that) before I even approached the products in the box. Then while dying my hair I had the instructions in front of me and read them again before hoping in the shower to rinse off. While in the shower and afterward my hair felt heavy and sticky and as if it were full of mousse that globbed together instead of drying. I only used the products in the box which were extremely hard to open to wash my hair and made sure that all of the excess color was washed out. Excellent!I had never dyed my hair myself until trying eSalon, but decided to try out a demi-permanent formulation to test a color change without a big commitment. The first color attempt didn’t come out like I’d imagined, but eSalon’s customer service and stylists were *amazing* and helpful. They reformulated a custom color for me and shipped it out immediately- it was perfect! For my next order, I switched to a permanent formulation so I can enjoy the color longer. Surprisingly impressed!!I saw eSalon’s ad on FB and decided to give it a try since I had recently went back to all one color. The selection process for choosing color and working with their site to give info for choosing my color was easy and when I used it for my first application ...they did a great job customizing my color! When it arrived, I was VERY IMPRESSED with the packaging (very cute and personalized) AND it had easy instructions to follow and they thought of EVERYTHING including stain protector for my hairline !! My hair is very shiny after coloring and not dry. Ususally after coloring my curls won’t act right for 2-3 weeks. Not with eSalon coloring!! From the very first time I washed it and styled it my curls look fantastic! The color covers my grays and last well on my ends that had previously been “ombre’d”. It took maybe 2 colorings ( month after month )to take and stop fading on the ombré ends. I’m very pleased and will continue to recommend to friends. This IS NOT like the cheap dyes in stores. I love this hair color!I had been noticing eSalon advertising their hair color for a while but was hesitant to try something new. I finally decided in December 2017 to try it. I absolutely love it. They know what they are doing! My hair color looks so natural and it completely covered my grey. I've had quite a few compliments since I've used it. I've also noticed that I don't need to color as often as I did when I used the store bought brand. The color seems to last much longer even the grey coverage. I can't say enough good things about this product. Now I look forward to coloring my hair because I know the results will be simply amazing!
