Good coverageThe base color provided good grey coverage. The ends color, matched well and did not color my ends too dark. The kit comes with everything described and shipped quickly. My hair takes to red easily and this is a good balance of medium brown, ash and mahogany. So easy to use!This is the third kit I have received and used. It is so easy! The color matches well and to add more coverage to the gray it was suggested I leave the color on for 40 minutes. The product does not make my hair dry either. The best thing ever!I started using this system after major surgery in Nov. 2017. Since I couldn't make it out to pick up my hair color, I decided to try this product. I fell in love with the color choice, the easy way to order and of course it coming right to your door!!! I did stop my order for a little while, but I always knew that I would return and order again. I have recommended this to many friends to try. The only reason I would stop using this product is if one day I decide to embrace my greys...... it will be a while before I do that!! Thank you for making this process effortless. Perfect match!!I was kind of unsure about the color combination to choose. I included the ratio my hair stylist normally uses and it came out absolutely perfect!! Hairdressers Hate ThisI never considered coloring my hair until my Hairdresser gave me a very short hair cut without asking. Then came the Pandemic. It was learn to do your hair or have grey roots. After the first coloring I called and spoke to a specialist. The color was close but needed a slight adjustment. They were able to match the color done by my former hairdresser. No lost time to travel , or waiting because the colorist is behind schedule and no tipping or Christmas gifts.. One suggestion to those of you who are new to this. My bathroom had white cabinets and a very light tile floor. I bought a shower curtain liner to protect the cabinets and floor. “Good enough” for these strAnge covid timesWe are strictly sheltering, so I’ve now used esalon for three home root recolorings, and have been overall satisfied.
