Hair textureAfter coloring my hair, my hair texture was very rough. I've never experienced that before, even with drugstore coloring. dark blonde (golden pearl)Have been using esalon for 3 year plus and this color for perhaps a year or more now and really like it. My hair is naturally dark brown but with a lot of root greys. I also have a curly pixie cut. I lighten the ends and just do the roots as often as needed, which I only leave the color on for 15 minutes or so and that works for me as I just want the greys to blend in with the lighter colored ends. I prefer this to the boxed drugstore color that I used years before. Going to the salon to get my roots done was becoming too expensive as that would be an every 2 week deal.
