FantasticI am naturally a brown black rather then soft black as originally thought. But I love this color! Because I am already a dark brunett it works with my eyes, and skin tone and is so bright and shiny. My highlights weren’t what I wanted and this all over color corrects my issue with highlights. First time customerI wanted to wait until 4 or 5 weeks had passed since coloring my hair to write my review. I wanted to see how the color changed with repeated washings, and how the temples held up, I am happy to give a 5 star rating. The color stayed pretty close to the color it was when I first colored it, and after 4 1/2 weeks my temples are just starting to lighten and the only grays showing are new growth. True to HueHonestly, I wasn’t sure how the color was going to turn out. I have colored my hair in a salon only a few times and I have gotten highlights done as well. I gotta tell ya, I was only semi-satisfied because it cost a lot of money and my color seemed to fade extremely quickly. The color didn’t cover my white hairs, the highlights did, but it was a lot of money for hardly any any highlights. Doing my own color has been the best experience ever and I am so satisfied with the results!!! When I first chose my color I picked a dark brown with red and mahogany under tones, my stylist adjusted my color to medium brown with red and mahogany under tones because of my lighter skin tone. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. My white hairs are covered and the color is exactly what I wanted. My hair has never looked so healthy and shiny in my whole life!!! I am a true client for life!!! The whole experience has been absolutely wonderful, I placed my order on a Wednesday night my order was filled that next Thursday morning and shipped even with the adjustment and I received my color set on Saturday in the mail. It’s been great and I have been referring all kinds of friends, family, and co-workers to the website because of my satisfaction. I love my color so much, I’ve been so happy with my hair. Their website is extremely user friendly and fun to use. I love the “How To” videos. Lovely colour, but far too harsh.First impressions: I loved the box, loved that everything came so neatly and carefully packed. I also appreciate the personal touches on the products and the name of the hair dye specialist that produced my colour. The box came with 2 x developer mix, 2 x colour mix, 2 × pairs latex gloves, 1 x stain guard gel, 1 x shampoo sachet, 1 x conditioner sachet, 1 x stain removal wipe, and 1 x dye brush. The developer mix and the colour were both incredibly strong. My eyes were watering and it caused slightly more of a tingle to my scalp than usual, but nothing to worry about as it faded quickly. The mixture was a little runny for application so had to use both, especially since I have long hair! The instructions were clear and concise to follow, and any questions I might have had were answered in the little pack. The stain guard and stain removal wipe are an excellent inclusion, they both worked brilliantly so I dont have any untoward marks on the tops of my ear or the side of my face! The dye washed out really easily which was nice, and I like the watered-down dye mix beig massaged into the scalp. Made it feel like more of a salon experience, and it's amazing you included two pairs of gloves so that I wouldnt have to keep the gloves on for ages. I also appreciate that the gloves were latex - they were stronger and more form-fitting than many of the cheap plastic, so they held up well. The shampoo and conditioner smelled incredible, and made my hair feel lovely but because I have such long hair there wasnt much to go around. Finally, the colour is incredible, it brings out the copper tones in my hair and makes my natural red hair look even more vibrant. Ways to improve are few but significant. The string chemical smell is an issue for me, as well as the lack of shampoo/conditioner. Maybe a "long hair" option for 50p extra, so you get extra sachets and not just the one? Overall, 3/5. just colored my hairI just have not had time til today to color my hair. It is about time for another set to be sent!! I like the way my hair feels, and especially liked the fact that i could wash my hair right as soon as i colored it. DecentI ordered the custom colour dark brown with mahogony and copper tones. The packaging and instructions were great, but the application process was not great due to the very strong, unpleasant scent of the dye. However I could get beyond this for a good result, but after a reveal the colour was not what I expected. It is still nice, but did not fully take to my hair so it lacks the vibrance that was advertised in the photo.
