Why did product change??I’ve been a customer for 9 mos. Loved it up until the last two colors. The first time, it was very difficult to wash out of hair. Felt like a handful of Vaseline was left on my scalp and hair. Rinsed and rinsed but had same feeling. About two weeks passed when hair finally felt normal again. The next coloring, I dreaded because of the gummy Vaseline feeling. I made sure to follow directions exactly thinking I had done a step wrong. I had no issues with coloring the first six mos. Same results on this coloring also. Tried different shampoos and was trying to rinse out the feeling for 30 mins. That feeling was still there. I have put off doing the next coloring as it’s just the worst feeling to have in your hair. I did call Cust Svc and they were nice and said to add baking soda when rinsing. I will do this color one more time and add the baking soda. Pretty sure I’m canceling my membership :| I love the color but that feeling!!!! BEST COLOR EVER!I usually use store bought hair color. I found esalon through instagram and Facebook. I decided to give it a shot! My hair is originally very dark brown almost black with a little red showing through in the sunlight. The last 6/8 months I put Carmel Hi-lights in it and grew tired of them very quickly. I am getting married in a few months and don’t have the funds to visit A salon to go back to my original color. Which brings me to the reason I am writing this review! I received my package very quickly as soon as I got it in the mail I ran inside and started the process which was very easy ! 20 minutes later and I am back to my original hair color! I was very nervous because of the blonde in my hair. I was worried it wouldn’t be what I thought I wanted. And I was wrong!
