Lots of shine. Beautiful color.Came with easy to follow instructions, skin protection, stain removal, gloves, etc. This is the first time I have used hair color at home. I requested extra shine in the formula, and my hair is very shiny! The color is very rich. I think I must have ordered the color a little too dark brown, and the auburn I selected has more of an iodine color. It's pretty but I think I will have to shampoo a bit extra to see if it will lighten up a bit. I also noticed that the dye must have given my hair some extra body! Which is always good. Fast forward, I received a free color set with an adjustment to the color. It was perfect! I love it. I decided to try some highlights, and it was so easy to apply! The results were wonderful. The kit allows you to apply the amount of highlights where you want it. I used to spend $175. to have a cut and root color done. Way too darkEverything about the color and description of my blend lead me to believe this would be an auburn or even straight up medium red-toned blend. Wrong. On my head it ended up being almost dark burgundy, even after washing. It's not a bad color, and the process was as easy as any other home dye kit I'd used, but it's not the result I expected, and certainly not what I wanted. I'm almost worried I'm going to have to bleach this out or go through two or three dye cycles of something else to get back just to where I was before I used this color. Too dark, not what I was looking for.This color, while pretty, is way too dark and it doesn't have a purple hue to it at all. It just looks like I have dark brown hair with a red undertone. In certain light it looks like a dark Auburn. Not what I wanted, and I was pretty sad when I saw the results.
