I wasn't sure but...I wasn't sure about the color but I have gotten several compliments including from the husband. The overall color lightens up pretty fast but it lightens evenly keeping my little band of gray covered almost until time to color again. Best hair color!I really enjoyed trying this product for the first time. I feel it's very gentle on my coarse dry hair. It's left me with rich color, amazing shine, and the hair feels much smoother.
