No more $200, plus gratuities, salon sessionsNever did I think I could color my own hair. I had been seeing the same colorist - whom I loved - for two decades. Then came the stay-at-home order, and I was stuck. I tried eSalon, based on the reviews in Allure - but with much trepidation and not a lot of hope. Surprise! Not only was my color perfectly matched, not only did the color cover my gray hair, but the results were comparable to those obtained at the very hi-end Manhattan salon. Really and truly. Does not cover gray and does not last!Sad that I spent $27 on nothing. The color lasted one week. All my gray is back. I have colored my hair at home for years and this is the worst. Does not last. DISAPPOINTEDI found the color to be messy from start to finish. I have been coloring my hair at home for years and have been using the "over the counter" brand for many years and have never encountered hair color being as messy as this was. I followed instructions from start to finish. When rinsing color out, color stained my hands, fingernails, and ran all down my face into my eyes burning my eyes and making them red.
