Amazing!The whole experience has surpassed my expectations - from the personalised bottles to the end result! I have used both box dyes and salon colouring for over a decade, and I'll never go back to off-the-shelf box dyes after this. I loved that there was a different colour for roots, giving a more even colour. I worried the red would be too dark for me as I usually choose a brighter red but it is absolutely perfect. I knew I would love it as soon as I began rinsing my hair and saw a beautiful deep red on the gloves. I did worry a bit after using the included shampoo as my hair immediately felt awful, like it had been bleached. However, as soon as I used the included conditioner, my hair instantly felt healthy again. Looking forward to continuing to use esalon for my future colour, and planning on buying the shampoo and conditioner to keep the vivid colour as long as possible, very happy with my choice. First time DIY dyerThis was my first time ever dying my base color and ever doing any dye at home. I'm a very pleased with the results! I asked for a medium brown in a demi, and I submitted a pic of myself and feel like my colorist really did a good job in giving me a formula that flatters my skin and eye color. I was covering some highlights and will say that the color took slightly differently in those places than on my virgin hair, but it gave the overall look more dimension so I'm ok with that.
