Color did not turn outThe hair color I choose was a dark dark brown with a purple sheen to it. My hair turned out a weird lighter red brown on the top and dark brown on the bottom. NOT WHAT I EXPECTEDI was so looking forward to using this product but I was so disappointed. I really hate to give this bad review but I followed the directions and I did have gray roots which they did not cover all the way. Actually it looks like I did not color my hair my daughter said. Kind of unbelievably goodMy colorist clearly read my notes and absolutely nailed my color. I was terrified while applying that it was going to be way too dark. While it's a touch darker than I expected, it's 100% perfect - a rich copper red that is both bold and natural-looking, and incredibly flattering on my skin tone. I've been putting up with sub-par box color for too long; I just didn't know it. This is the best color job I've had including the hundreds (thousands?)
