Inconsistent colorMy first color was dark. I understand it is difficult to know where to start based upon photo, but I went from dirty blond to my granddaughter (who is medium brown) calling me “her hair twin!” My color was adjusted and the next application was nearly strawberry blond. The third and most recent adjustment resulted in light brown with reddish tint. As I emphatically started with the desire to avoid red or green (I’ve experienced both in past salons), I guess the twinning my dark-haired granddaughter was odd, but best. Uneven color- waxy residueThis product is terrible! I've dyed my hair many times from home. This dye gave my hair the strangest texture, and it actually lightened my roots instead of darkening them, then darkened the middle... ugh. nightmare. You should be ashamed of yourselvesThis color was about as far from ash as it gets. It was a warm reddish orange: which is exactly what I explicitly stated I did not want. New packaging is faultyReceived and used my hair color kit yesterday. Excited for the new look. However the experience was frustrating. The colorant cap would not open. After several attempts using rubber gloves with no budging, I had wait for my son and husband to get Home to have them to open the cap. It wasn’t easy for my husband either. Delayed my hair color for an hour. Then all is well until I’m washing the color out. The new shampoo and conditioner packettes tear was faulty. I tore off but nothing came out. I’m in the shower totally annoyed bc the inner clear layer was not punctured and wouldn’t release the sh and then same for cd. While the packaging is pretty, it does not work functionally.
