Easy to applyThe color was easy to apply. It was a little darker than my color though I sent in a picture but I liked it. Absolutely Loved It!For years, I've really struggled to find the perfect shade for my hair. It is jet black (I'm Asian) and even if I just want to get some nice dark or medium shades of brown, it's either doesn't lift - or it turns into a very yukky orange. Even going to the hair salons, they just point blank say it's not possible and in all honestly, I've always turned away unhappy. Especially, as I have greys - so whether it's the shop brand or hair salons, I have to use a very darker shade to ensure coverage. A friend of mine recommended eSalon! Not only was the whole purchasing experience an absolute joy - with such each, but the box, the items, the instructions were so easy to follow. Most importantly - the hair colour was fantastic! Only one issueOverall, I am please with the coverage and how the color turned out. But am a tad baffled as to how after 4 washes I'm still bleeding color? I have naturally thick, curly hair and a dry scalp, so I can get by with washing once/twice a week, depending on how I style it. During initial application removal, I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed again until water rain clear. Seems as though when I shampoo, it's stripping away color? Not really sure, I use the Sebastián line in hair care. I believe the tint does help minimize what is lost and aide in keeping shine. Perfect shade and easy to applyI was hesitant to try the color provided because it was medium blonde and I think of myself as a light blonde. However, they NAILED the color - it's the exact right shade - and without brassiness. The only issue is it didn't fully cover my grey. I am not sure if I need a different formulation or if I didn't use enough. The rest looks great though and my hair feels good. ColorI’m quite happy with this service, the color, the choices pretty much everything. Until this last months delivery, I know things are a little unsettled with this COVID19 going on, but it literally took almost 22 days for my shipment to get to me. Quality Coloring Product - still conflicted on priceI’m torn because I don’t love coloring my hair at home, I have a white bathroom and children who never give me time to myself. With quarantine I tried a couple box colors and wasn’t impressed since I’ve been getting professional color at a salon. I saw Terry Hatcher review this and decided to give it a try. I love the color, it saturates my greys better then other box colors, it’s not as messy as others. But I’m still struggling with the price.. most subscription services don’t charge you shipping which makes this a $30 box color.
