It's a match!It's hard getting a hair color close to the original color shade I was born with. Trying to explain to hairdressers that my hair is a very dark brown with a red shine to it. Not brassy but definetly a deep dark red. I went to expensive salons and I always came home with it being too dark or too light. eSalon is the only one who got it right. Does the job!I have a good amount of gray how long my hairline and this is a great job. They also do a good job updating instructions with feedback. SurprisedBecause of my work schedule I could not go to salon once a month for my gray hair, I ordered the har color not expecting much, hoping for miracle. Lovely locksAt 57 years of age I have been lucky in the hair department, I have thick naturally auburn hair which has darkened from ginger over the years. I have a two inch band of white hair around. Y hairline and have never dyed it before. The products were easy to use and my friend applied it for me, my only complaint is that in my opinion it was darker than I imagined and if I do it again I would like it a little lighter and more album not brown.
