1st time userI was so excited when my kit arrived. I got my daughter to do it for me incase I missed anywhere. Unfortunately the brown was too dark. DisappointedQuite frankly I did not care for this product at all. It smelled intensely of ammonia, mixing two separate bottles seemed unnecessarily complicated, and my hair is dry and strangely fuzzy in the root area. While the coverage and color is decent, I expected something that left my hair feeling healthier than when I started. However the opposite is true. Ruined my hairThis is perfect if you want you hair to become a dry, horrible mess. Before using this my hair was strong, gloss and in excellent condition. Not the color I ordered.Although it covers the red that I was not liking. It is way darker than the dark blonde that I was going for. I had talked to my colorist before the order went through and she said that she was going to make it a more of a light brown. My hair is still darker than that. No gray coverageI gave a 2 star since this brand did not cover any of my gray roots. My hair takes color well. Very disappointed ESalon did not tell me it did not cover gray.
