slightly different than what I wantedThe color was beautiful but the roots were a different shade than the shaft of my hair, but esalon shipped me a complementary color to tone it down and it definitely worked!!!!! Gentler than drugstore brands and affordable!I've been using Esalon color for almost 6 years now. It's gentler than drugstore box color and so much more reasonable than paying $85-$100 every 4 weeks to go to a salon. But best of all (and this just happened to me again recently) I was talking to a colleague about this and she said, " I didn't know you colored your hair. I thought that was your natural color." For me, that's the mark of good color. I want my hair to look like my hair, not that kind of thing where you look at someone and the FIRST thing you notice is that their hair has been colored (and it's not very good). And while some people may want a dramatic look, I just want my hair to look like ME and look good. Ordered six months ago just got brave to use it !!Should have tried it when I ordered it. It’s great and honestly do give it ago. I used to go to the salon every eight weeks. Got fed up when the hairstylist tried to do three others as well as me. Now no hastle it’s just me and my hair. Great match. You won’t be disappointed.
