I must admit after finding all the other products so good I was terribly disappointed with this. It is nothing like my hair colour, like putting thick mascara in your hair, makes it dull, stiff and messy. A total waste of my money as I shan't use it again.

I have mixed feelings about this product. Not as easy to apply as I would like (the brush gets caught in my curls), and the color is too brown (if it's ever done, I might need to try a different color). More importantly, it makes my hair very stiff and "solid" (it can't even be finger combed where I've used it). However, it does cover the roots near my face, which is where I use it when necessary, and it does that quite well without looking noticeable. So although I don't use it often, I'm very happy to have it when I need to cover that offending white around my face.

I tried this product because I needed it to have on hand until my next package of hair dye arrived...I did not care for the way it left my hair feeling...it was also hard to style with in my hair...it left it feeling very dirty and I feel it weighed my hair done. Do not like unfortunately : (

My roots come in pretty quick my grays start to show almost 2 weeks after every color... I was so excited to have this product but my excitement soon came to an end. It leaves your hair crunchy and you get brown flakes. I went for a massage and simply just leaning against the towel made the whole towel Brown it should be more of a water proof formula that washes off with soap and water you brush up with a co-worker on this stuff and it's on them :(

Like idea, it really helps with quickly needed root touch up and washes out easily. Application brush to small, or wrong shape, gets tangled in my hair when applying. Also very sticky even when dry. Leaves hair flat where used.

I originally ordered 2 of these (quite awhile back, maybe a year or two), not at all what I expected. The tiny brush catches long hair in it, plus the texture and color was strange, and most importantly, did not cover my gray grow out in the least. I tossed them in the trash. Personally, I will not purchase again. Others may have better experiences with this product.

The Color Kiss does a good job of hiding my gray roots between colorings. The problem is the way it makes my hair feel. It makes my hair stiff and dirty feeling, the cover up also takes all the body out, I lose the curl that I like around my face. I guess it depends on how bad the gray is showing, I will still use it when it gets really bad.

Hard to apply to anywhere except front meaning I can only use it with my hair pulled back. Left my hair feeling like it had mascara in it. But it did cover the grey well so I didn't look like I had white roots and looked natural.

Afraid to say there are better root touch ups out there, maybe they cost a little bit more but you get what you pay for. I found this to be quite sticky and hard compared to a powder and brush one that I tried from a different brand

This product, in the lighter color, was too orange. I was not happy with the way it looked in my hair and it is hard to apply because you have to use a mascara type want to get in on your roots and then let it dry and try to use a comb to keep it from looking clumpy. Maybe it looks better in darker shade. Not for me!

I tried this product with poor results. It comes out of the tube so sticky and thick that I couldn't distribute the product. It just stays clumped in one place. The results were horrible and I had to wash it out right away. Maybe I had a bad batch. Not impressed and waste of money.

This temporary touch up was too thick for me. It was like thick mascara. When I tried to apply it lightly, it didn't cover, so several coats were required. Ended up being thick and gloppy by the time I was able to cover gray hair at my temples. Not a good look. Overall I was very disappointed with this product. I only used it once.

I love most of your products, but this one I am just NOT happy about. When I try to apply it, the brush just gets tangled up in my (long) hair and I create a mess of my hairdo. It's sticky and not easy to apply in the right amount. I really think you should make a root touch up spray, or even a powder, like some other brands have done. That's so much easier to apply and it looks much more natural.

It made my roots red, not blending in with rest of hair and kept the color from taking in the roots. Should be warned to wash it out before coloring hair.

New Applicator doesn't work well

I ordered this previously and was given a new one a few months ago when i went into the salon HQ to volunteer for a service and the new applicator is terrible. The old one was wonderful at covering roots naturally. The new one has this plastic cap that always comes off when i try to pull the applicator out. The brush is more like a hard comb that either puts large chunks of touch up on or none at all. Bring back the old applicator, please! The color is great but i can never use it anymore. I wish i had kept my old one just to use that applicator with the new container.

I was so excited to have a root touchup to use in between coloring because my hair grows and while the rest of my head looks fantastic the roots don't. I tried this product the first time exactly as indicated, no results – there was zero permanent temporary cover up. I tried it the second time leaving it on longer with no luck either :-(

This product left a waxy build-up (felt like a melted crayon on my scalp) and it took about 4 washings to get it out. I gave the feedback to eSalon and they made adjustments to my account. GREAT customer service!

The instruction says that until shampoo it should stay but not on me. After just using water it is gone and I have to apply again. Don't like the after use feeling my hair either. Makes it very coarse!

I am honestly not sure this works. I have tried it, but I didnt notice much of a difference. I also think it is hard to remember to use it 30 minutes prior to washing my hair. For the difference I noticed, it hardly seemed worth to cost of the product or the effort.

I really love the hair color products and like the idea of this root touch up wand better than the reality. It's easy to use, but when it dries my hair just felt gross. Could not run fingers through my hair, they would get stuck. Was stiff and waxy and did not feel natural at all.

It's a great size and goes on easily but the actual colour composition is very heavy on the hair. The colour sits on the roots, makes the hair stick to the scalp and even if you comb it through, the colour comes off on yr hands if you touch it. I had assumed that onces dried it wouldnt make my hands black if i touch my hair, but it does. It's almost chalky on the hair, not a natural looking finish i was really hoping for so i can't use it. i

I find the one I buy at CVS is better. This was not a favorite and a disappointment since all their other products are fantastic. I did not like the applicator, the way it went on or how it looked once applied.

I wasn't crazy about how to apply this stuff. The color was a great match and it does help cover roots while you're waiting for your next color, but it seemed awkward to use to me. Maybe it deserves a 4 star rating as the color match was great (I bought the color they suggested) and it lasted until I washed it out, but the application part wasn't my favorite!

This was not easy to use. The wand got tangled in my hair. When it dried, it made my hair have a matted feel. I will not waste time on it again.

After I purchased this, I didn't try it for awhile...then when I took the time to put it on and wait to wash my hair, it washed off and didn't cover my Grey hairs. Would not recommend.

I was so excited to get this product as I get really gray around my face and nowhere else. I have tried this on multiple occasions with the same results. It doesn't work. No coverage...it was like I never used it. I would not ever recommend this product. I sure wish it would work!

It was like trying to put mascara on your roots if you can imagine. The brush got tangled in my hair and I ended up with it everywhere. It would help if they would find a better way to apply it, the little mascara brush doesn't cut it.
